Give PZ.IV F1 not PZ.III N HEAT round

German BR2 currently has three vehicles equipped with KWK 37:
PZ.IV E
PZ.IV F1
PZ.III N
At present, almost all the advantages are concentrated in PZ.III N
Thicker armor (+20MM front armor)
More complex armor shapes (increased Gaijin magic probability)
More speed (even though it’s heavier and uses the same engine)
+1 roof MG
front smoke (although almost no one uses it)
After adding the HEAT shell, basically no one will use the other two PZ.IVs.

Therefore I recommend giving HEAT shell to PZ.IV F1 instead of PZ.III N to balance these advantages
The PZ.IV can carry more ammo, so this makes sense

As for why PZ.IV F1 was chosen? Because its armor is even weaker than PZ.IV E, but the research order is after PZ.IV E.

All of them should get heats.

The reason the Pz III N got the limited number of heats is to balance out the legacy Pz III N that only the veterans have.
And legacy Pz III N should definitely not be robbed of its heats

But I think “full access” ≈ premium, they paid the money and got something they can’t get anymore, german PPsh, Soviet Thompson, T34E, PZ.III N with extra advantages

But my original intention is to make each stuff unique. I don’t want anything to completely overwhelm the performance of the same BR equipment (although there are many in the game)

huh?
Basically all spam HE “spammers” on BR2 do have similar ammo. M8 scott does have high number of Heats, T-28 does have shrapnel ammo…

Plus I am not saying tech tree german kwk37 should get 30 heats, just similar number to what tech tech Pz III N got

Basically almost all tank with howitzer in game have similar ammo, for balance purposes aganaist tank with hypervelocity gun

As You said everyone should get them

Wait, all pz3N got heat now???

I must compare with old Normandy one and Tunisia one later… (I think Tunisia was premium)

Yes, but only as bonus ammo. So the quantity is heavily limited. If I remember correctly, it’s something like ±7 pieces

Yes, it is.

Thanks!

Means I don’t really need to switch my good 'ol Stalingrad one

i don’t have a problem with giving HEAT to the F, but why everyone forget that E has 30mm turret?

The firepower of the M8 is indeed good, but it has light armor open top, and the commander is completely exposed. (headache meme)

But I don’t think you’ve ever used a T-28 because shrapnel is pure s**t round.
The anti-infantry capability is a lie, it only has 85g tnt(an average 75mm shell should have 600+), which is worse than 45mm in actual use (yes, I start a custom match just to experiment with this crap)
31 pen is also a joke in BR2

After hitting PZ.IV J side armor at 50m for 20 rounds…

T-28E has 67pen APHEBC, which can barely deal with BRIII tank
But it’s a slow big fridge that can’t escape an uncook explosion pack or 50 kg bomb
+50% gun reload time but have 2 magic MG
Painful -5 Suppression

And HO-I is the worst, PZ.IV F1 like hull, +80% reload time, bad AP
The only advantage is that HE is slightly stronger (800+g tnt)

Overall, PZ.III N is the best, with high mobility, armor, high rate of fire, and can easily fight against BR3 tanks (with HEAT)
