Sometimes “just” is miraculously not possible.
not in Enlisted in the GE faction there nothing is possible only on USSR everything is possible xD
cough cough …
Newest event Thompson with brrrrrt² rof before even their mamas and papas (US/GB) could get their hands on it. I feel sad for US/GB.
Before we lose focus on the thread: 100rd please.
Well that’s cold war right here in SOVIET communist society it was free I guess in US/GB you gotta pay up after all we live in a evil capitalist system … xD
During CBT half of the Moscow arsenal used same models.
Like anyone would give a damn if it is modeled or not at the start.
It is, i truly don’t want to grind MG39 since it will feel like yet another samey MG squad but with a slightly different skin. It will be a dead weight that is worse than TT MG squad since i can also take specialists to take out enemy tanks and have assaulter or radioman/sniper.
Doesn’t matter you can kill two people in a single mouse button press at close range. Actually bullet count is 100.
At this point they may as well add P47, American jets and T28/T30/T32, M2 Stinger to the USSR and then kill America for good, since Soviets are just better Americans.
They should give him a 150-bullet belt at least since this is an event weapon.
250-round magazine and 1800 rounds of fire to make it worthy of the best WW2 light machine gun
That’s because they gave up and stopped asking for things “in the name of balance”. Most either changed factions, stopped asking for what they realistically should have, or quit enlisted.
I as a SOV/Japan/Allies main have been lacking on Germany because of the mass amount of steamroll. Germany players are not dead but they are few and far between right now.
idk man my 2 german match today was pretty good like yesterday but that could just be luck
As I said they’re few and far between, the faction isn’t dead that’s for sure but it’s nowhere near steamrolling every match like they did on merge release. My personal experience with German players as of recently was a 20/80 win loss ratio with them. Makes it difficult to play a faction when your not sure if anyone is actually playing them at that time.
Better a bullet belt for your 250
Yey, another prototype / field modification thing instead of stuff that was actually mass produced and used.
This is the beretta 42/59 cold war copy of the mg42 and still used by Italian military forces
To stick to the original topic:
“The gun used a 50-round flexible metal belt feed, or, alternatively, a 75-round snail drum magazine. A full 50-round belt of ammo would be depleted in a 21/2-second burst; the 75 round drum in 31/2 seconds. To permit longer fire bursts, MG 42 crews normally linked together several 50 round belts. Ammunition boxes (weighing 22 pounds each) held five separate belts totaling 250 rounds per box. A good crew could shoot 250 rounds in 12½ seconds of continuous fire, or 20-30 seconds by firing quick bursts.”
And again:
" To permit longer fire bursts, MG 42 crews normally linked together several 50 round belts. Ammunition boxes (weighing 22 pounds each) held five separate belts totaling 250 rounds per box."
It wasn’t just the MG-42, others like MG34, MG45, among others.
No reason we can’t get 100 rounds for German BR V TT. Model and rendering isn’t a excuse, since like it was said above they had lots of placeholder models in the CBT. I’m sure People won’t immediately care if we’re using the 50 round drum in place of a 100 round box/hanging belt until they can fix the model within the next few updates. The Beltfed-DP and Browning A6 use the belts anyway. As someone that plays all factions I don’t like my enemy to be “crippled” in a area they were best known for (both tanks and MG). Tanks is a whole other topic, so I’ll spare that here since it spans multiple factions and would be off topic.
Looking more into this though I did find something interesting:
This is The American T24 MG, made by reverse engineering captured MG42s to fire 30-06 ammo. The only reason this weapon wasn’t mass produced in 1944 was because in trials the weapon refused to extract every single round fired from it. So the ordinance department deemed it a failure and immediately abandoned it. It only had a 610 fire rate, due to an extra heavy bolt. I’d imagine this becoming a event weapon with 250 rounds knowing what we recently got.
Bro a URRS Main asking for a mg-39 with 100??
Imposible
i mean at this point you got to feel a bit bad for german man it only logical
