Lee and Grant have basically the same gun as chaffee, both in TT.
Let’s conveniently leave out that Germany has a 76mm long barrel in BR2 WITH APCBC shells penning 140mm, which is also in tech tree.
Germany also has 4 BR2 tanks with 50mm long barrel all with APC shells penning 106mm (2 TT, 2 premmy)
Germany has stug iii A with short 75mm barrel that has HEAT rounds penning 80mm
Germany has MULTIPLE BR2 tanks with special rounds that pen much more than U.S. tanks, chaffee included.
Chaffee currently pens 90mm. And thing is, it’s NOT always about how much pen it can do. It comes down to fragments after the pen to blow the tank. Chaffee will have to shoot rounds upon rounds into enemy tanks to get the kill. German tanks usually kill in 1-2 shots. This isn’t pay to win, its pure german bias. It’s a miracle we just got APCBC in sherman tanks. I would take a 50mm long barrel with APCBC over a 75mm with solid shot any time.
Also, chaffee has really bad armor. It will get 1 shot by any BR2 tank in German TT.
…Germany suffers, i know. I’m truly astonished at your thought process on almost every comment i see of yours. You ask for HEAT rounds on king tigers but then reject chaffee getting something more than standard solid shot all while already knowing what i had to take the time to write out just now. It’s almost like you’re the biggest troll in Enlisted, just want all the good stuff for Germany and no one else, or just lack a basic understanding of the game.

M8 scott does 89mm so what is your point here?
Have you tried aiming at ammo racks yet? If you cant kill an enemy somewhat reliable then maybe its a skill issue.

What you request is a direct upgrade over the 50mm cannons which trade off anti infantry power and post pen for penetration. Your is just a 50mm but as 75mm with good HE and post pen.
So does every single axis tank (both germany and japan) until BR 4 for germans (and BR 5 for japan).
- KT is not in BR 2 but BR 5
- Who even requested that? I never have see anybody request that anywhere in a serious manner.
- The chaffe was only moved down to BR 2 BECAUSE it had a bad ammo… every othere 100mm pen 75mm cannon is BR 3. The only exeption beeing TD with bad handeling and exposed crew…
And I took my time to write down my reasoning why I think your suggestion is horrible.
But calling the opposition a troll usually does not inspire confidence in your side of the argument.
If they move the chaffee back into BR 3 then sure, go ahead and give it APHE but not in BR 2.

Again, every single tank until BR 4 (which BR 2 cant face) only has 50mm front armor so 140mm is only needed when fighting actually armored targets like shermans T34 or KV1.

It is 1 singular tank… which again only has a 50mm gun. It isnt that OP if you consider that tank vs tank isnt even that commen compared to tank vs infantry.

I play all factions, I just want good shells for my Chaff Chaff. Chaff will be as easy to destroy as before, it will simply be a bit more dangerous if it’s shells do pen.
(It’s not a competition, I just like the Chaffee.)

Just lol. German mains are so infuriating.
- You don’t need anywhere close to 140mm in BR2.
- Everyone knows axis tanks are far superior than U.S.'s so yes we need more to achieve the same thing. That’s what i just went on about this whole time.
- Chaffee has 24mm of frontal armor.
You act like this will dramatically be OP by putting it in line with axis tanks. We aren’t asking for the most powerful APHE rounds, just something more than solid shot giving it a fair chance against other german tanks.
KV 1 can make even the long 50mm sketchy with angle.
And a panzer 4 has 20mm of armor then (which would make it the worse tank out of the two if you ignore the fact that those are angled )
But with the angle the 25mm turns into 40 to 50mm of effective armor which is about as much as an F2.
we could give crusader it’s Mk9 shot, it’s APCBC shell but it lacks filler because brits didn’t do that outside of the 2 pounder

actually if i am remembering right m61 was designed with filler in it, but due to the need of the new shell to replace m72 it was quickly shipped off without filler. so why don’t we give the chaffee that version of m61 instead of the filler one? how does that sound?
OR we give the Chaffee the good shell WITH filler.
