And I think the havr rocket’s power is too great ,needs weaken or reduce its quantity
They usually have reduced quantity already. In general aircraft load outs are far lighter in Enlisted than what they could actually carry. What Japan needs is a counter like your suggestion.
Japan made two different attacker planes only during WW2.
- The first, Ki-102 Otsu, would be a great BRII to BRIII Attacker, it’s armament is powerful, 57mm auto cannon and twin 20mm. Suspended armament could be either 4×100kg, 2×250kg or 1×500kg bombs. I think 4×100kg would be the best.
Also it was very survivable, heavily armored in the fuselage and under its engines, and also having engie fire extinguishers and self-sealing fueltanks. And defended by a 12.7mm HMG in the rear cabin.
However all these things would make it slightly slugish.
- Our second option is the Ki-93 Otsu, its technically an Anti-Shipping aircraft but it would still be excelent as a ground attacker for BRIV. Armed with a poweful 75mm cannon and 2×250kg bombs. It would be very fast with powerful engines and six bladed propelers being able to avoid enemy fighters and AA gun fire.
It obviously had armor, since it’s role would expose it to heavy AA fire but it is not clear how much armor it had or where the armor was but it is known that it also had engine fire extinguishers and self sealing fuel tanks. It was also protected by a 12.7mm HMG in the rear cabin.
There’s way more options for dive bombers and strike fighters but you asked for attackers so I’ll spare you the details on those

Prototype aircraft with a 57mm cannon, not 75mm if I’m not mistaken.
Would be very cool but War Thunder doesn’t even have this and we can expect them to copy assets of existing aircraft.
The Ki-102B has this same cannon. In War Thunder it has HEF shells so it would be pretty cool to use against infantry too. It’d be more likely they copy that one over.
Also the Ki-43 you mentioned is long overdue in my opinion.
US gets the Buffalo with 4x .50 cal and 2x 100lbs where Japan gets an A5M with 2x 7.7mm. What is that?
Ki-43 would’ve been much better. 2x 12.7mm and either 2x 30kg or 2x 250kg bombs. Even just with the 2x 30kg load out it would be a much more logical counter to the Buffalo…

Invalid argument, we have Ho-Ri “”“Production”“” which is totally fake and also not EVERY vehicle in the game is ported from WT.
Ki-102 Otsu would be an absolute menace in enlisted.
And yes Lower BR IJA aircraft are sorely over due.
Japan actually produced very decent planes but they are the weakest currently.

Would be incredibly fun depending on the effectiveness of the rounds.
Just my own expectations of what is likely. I’m not making definitive claims and I know there are exceptions.
Just sayin’, it’s not gonna help the likelyhood of it ending up in enlisted if WT doesn’t have assets reaady. Vast majority of vehicles, especially aircraft (if not all aircraft) are ported.

Also has 2x 20mm.
I would really enjoy such a goofy weapon so I hope they just go with it at some point.
Theres a Ki-44 (also in WT) with 2x 40mm with 10 rpg. I know there is a Hurricane in Enlisted with that but that has the AP-T rounds. The Ki has HE rounds and would also blast infantry like nothing else.

Ki-61 and Ki-84 get air spawns. Also kinda why I’d want a Ki-43 (any variant) to have a low tier aircraft that gets an air spawn.

Yeah it’s not exactly fair compared to US who gets waaaay more choices, along all tiers, for air spawns.
I like the concept of carrier spawns but practically speaking it’s just annoying.
At the very least they should add low tier aircraft with air spawns.
Ki-43 (fighter) + some kind of low tier attacker.
Next to of course 1 or 2 high tier attacker (with air spawn).
Perhaps also a tech tree Ki-61 for those that can’t/won’t buy the premium.
Needless to say, Japan needs some more attention.
It is not that good. There is only 250g of explosive in it. Its firepower may be comparable with low br planes armed with rockets.
Its 56g of explosive and so little ammo won’t do much to infantry. A normal plane with 20mm cannons will be more effective than it.
thats good to hear, that makes it more likely do be implemented realistically.
I see, thanks for your input. I would still like to see it in game but would actually prefer a standard Ki-43 then.
