Currently japanese br 1/2 plane selection is small and miserable. The only plane worth using is a6m2 while the rest are quite bad. The biggest problem i have with the plane selection is the lack of interceptors that can destroy bomber formations. Intercepting bombing runs are one of the best way to get score but unfortunately none of the br 2 japanese planes are great at it. E13 has no guns, a5m4 has only machineguns which are not enough to kill bombers in time, D3a1 also only has machineguns. While a6m2 has 20mms they have very little ammo and often run out after destroying half of the bombers.
This is not an problem for other nations
Germany has iar 81c, stuka d5 and C202ec
Usa has both spitfires, p 51 c and p38
Ussr has p 40 e/1, il/2 1941 and yak 7b
Using these planes i always manage to kill all 5 bombers while for japanese i usually get only 3
Please make the game more fair and give japan better br 2 interceptor.
They must add Ki-43-II and Ki-45 tei for BR I ASAP and Ki-44-II hei and Ki-44-II otsu: and Ki-102 otsu for BR II really Japan needs them and I-Go Ko and Chi-Ha Kai tanks for BR I tanks so Japan will be having 2 BRs where they will be balanced. Maybe even Type 4 Chi-To prototype 1 for BR II will be something like a Crusader and will give Japan nice diversity in vehicles there is more interesting vehicles but those are the most important for BR I and BR II.
Also forgot to mention that all of the japanese planes that are capable of dealing with bombers are carrier based wich means that the bombers will escape before you can shoot at them due to the slow takeoff. Give japan an interceptor that has good enough guns to kill bombers and doesnt need to take off from a carrier
