Currently, there are a few points of using it over Ki-84 Ko: 4 x 20mm cannons, slightly better climb rates, just for variety out of boring flying in the same plane. Otherwise, it’s worse than Ki-84 Ko in every way despite being in the same BR: way slower, slightly inferior full turn time, densely webbed reflector sight (could possibly lose what you’re aiming at), inferior bombs (2x60kg vs 2x250kg).

I saw in WT wiki that it could be armed with a pair of rockets, so why not? Give it some differentiation and preference choice why you should pick this plane.

As much sense this would make it will probably fail because burgers dont want the be the one on the recieving end of rockets just the one dishing them out.

As if a pair of rockets gonna scratch their wonderful loads of HVAR tho lol, give Japan some love.
