It’s just unplayable with just 2 mags (30/30 with total of just 60 rounds). I’m forced to downgrade to type 4 with flamethrower guy as it has 5 magazines.

I don’t have such issues as Americans as they have 4 mags total (120 ammo)
That issue may disappear if our new M2 Carbine for Japan could be equipped as Flamethrower soldiers, but anyway i still would rather want to use super hei than m2 carbine.
This has got to be your funniest troll post yet, considering the type 4 has 50 rounds total anyway and that literally all select-fire rifles have 60 by default

Any guns with just 2 magazines / belts should at least get 3. Two mags (including the one you’re using) is just too little to actually be feasible. Especially when it comes to the Type Hei Automatic and the MG34/42. They burn through the ammo way too fast.
Don’t you dare insult The Emperor. Using any of his weapons is an honour.
Jokes aside, the Type 4 is actually my favourite semi auto in the game. I don’t know why, but it’s the most satisfying to use. I can’t believe it used to be BR IV with the clip reload.

Did your skill issued ass consider bringing an ammo bag before asking for buffs to one of the top 2 weapons in the entire game?

The whole point of the flamethrowers is to have an entire extra weapon to use, so ofc they are limited in ammunition. Flamethrowers for Soviets, Axis, and USA get the same amount of ammunition = 60 bullets for their select fire rifle. The M2 Carbine is a massive exception since that weapon does nearly half the damage of these rifles, and is more akin to an assaulter weapon than a Select Fire Rifle.

All rifles with damage greater than 13.5 have only 60 bullets, why does it need to become special?
Isn’t a magazine with 30 bullets enough to satisfy you?

When I use this weapon with flamethrowers or radio operators, I turn on the semi-automatic firing mode, the Hei type has a very low recoil, so it’s easy to fire it in semi-automatic firing mode.
Type Hei Auto is very strong thanks to its 30 round magazine which makes up for lower damage so its nerfed by limited ammo reserve.
A fair nerf if you ask me.
And which soldier would run with just one spare mag? Flamethrowers are useless at BR5 so i see even less reason to run them after leveling that squad up as most of Pacific maps are just open fields where you can’t even get close and need to rely on primary but you can’t with just 60 rounds.
If they are so useless, why not just use a normal soldier who can bring ammo bags? You kinda defeated your own argument, its hilarious to watch.
Me who often clear, or denies interiors with flamers in br5, watching as many just don’t know how to react to them
