Give defender some time

it can also depend on the point themselves where 1 competent defender can easily win by 1 rally on 3rd fatman street but can’t really hold the first 2 points themselves

well that is cause of the idea that low playerbase side can be balanced by issuing more tickets. so when you have even match, some sides can win more easily.

Well for assault it’s different, talking about invasion

Unlimited tickets shouldn’t excuse some random bloke instantly sneaking by and capping

so having unlimited tickets to spawn a 9 man each time to stop a slow backcap, oh right they also made it so you need 4 actual players to get normal cap speed, isn’t an advantage to you?

Its on you

Especially since capping takes roughly 90 to 120 seconds for a full squad or two on it
More than enough time to fall back or just suicide and respawn

There is no excuse for letting a guy back cap in this game

Yep as someone that plays Normandy Axis alot I usually have a rally point and 3 ammo boxes built before the allies can even push the hangar. This guy has plenty of time to build “defences” (probably self sabotaging barbwire or whatever).

Also all the defences you want time to build are just going to get deleted by artillery, bombs, mortars, tank rounds, det packs, rifle grenades, etc.

Arty comes after 30 seconds and Atleast 10 seconds untill landing. But yes, I do agree a nice timer for defender to build even more aa guns and barbwire their own team is a must have for immersion and realism.

the only way this could be done in an interesting, fun, and fair manner is if the attackers were then also provided with roughly twice the amount of players. I am not talking about manpower…
If attackers had twice as many actual players in the game and the defenders had time to fortify, this could be a very interesting game mode. I would also recommend there to be only a few capture points (maybe even just 1 epic fortress point). Unfortunately it is very difficult to balance and if the defenders do not do a good job of fortifying they are absolutely screwed, while the attackers need enough of a numbers advantage to have a fair chance of winning even if the defenders do a decent job. Because of how difficult it would be to pull this off in a fair way it is probably best to leave it be, even if it could be a very fun game mode.

I would say, that “IF” the defenders would be allowed to prepare for the attackers, then the defenders should need to fall back much sooner.

You can keep spawnkilling the attacking force for a pretty long time, denying them the chance to rally up.
