My favorite thing in the game, is in berlin, on certain maps, i spawn my mortarman squad, use the first one to dump all its rounds on the point, get 10 to 25 kills, then charge in with my RMN-50 second mortarman.
It’s my only way to cope, don’t remove it.
Actually, Normandy Allies main here, we spawn either across the runway or in the hanger on the opposite side of the one next to the first point + a lot of people do get some things set up before we get there
Defenders have Infinite respawns. You can kill as many as possible and still not win as attackers
Here’s what actually needs to happen, make objectives farther apart on some maps or add a little bit of time before the greyzone changes. The biggest issue is someone who sneaks by the combat and starts capping way too early where the game ends so quickly because of this, though thankfully this used to be a lot worse but it’s way better now.
not really needed, the artillery has a cooldown time and defenders have unlimited spawns, only the attackers have a limit
Spend some more time on the game and gain some experience. Everything you’re complaining about really isn’t an issue and easily dealt with. Plus no need to get aggressive to people trying to explain this to you, only makes you look more incompetent.

what i find it funny is that he is complaining about airfield… one of the worst maps for allies…

Hello friend. Imo, defender in this game have an overwelming advantage. It is a lot harder to attack because you do need coordination to make a good push. (Especialy in normandy)
So I don’t believe that giving more to the defender in general is a good idea. Especialy because building on the point is extremely strong. I think it’s a good thing that the defender have to do that under fire.

Well he does have a point on some aspects, i encountered many ocasions where tanks would clear out the first cap zone of defenders instantly in the first minute of the battle. At least with planes you have to wait 90 seconds to spawn then ~30 to reach the drop zone. Also you can’t have 2 planes of the same kind in the battle but with tanks that’s not an issue for some reason.
i guess unlimited tickets isn’t an advantage to you???

depends on what point it is with points 3rd on fatman street or 2nd floor on 2nd of minstery being a fucking bitch for attackers to take while house 4th on d-day can be piss easy…also defenders can cycle CAS aircraft freely while attackers use 20 tickets per vehicle
i don’t think they have an advantage, actually i think it’s the opposite. As an attacker you can move and find ways to flank the enemy team, while defenders more or less have to hold the point and risk getting encircled and blown up with arty tanks and CAS.
Defenders have these exact same assests and lose nothing by suicide bombing or other tactics. Attackers only lose points. An equal team skill wise will show the defenders have a large advantage especially in assault maps

Quite a while ago I run a small test in a custom lobby. I played 5 matches where I did nothing and the whole match was played by AI squads only. I was sometimes deffender, sometimes attacker (I don’t remember it as I was just doing this out of curiosity rather than for some serious testing).
Any way, the results were: 4/5 matches were won by attackers.
Take note that this was done a while ago and it was not the best test. So current results may be completelly different.

This actually proves some things. One is that bots/campers lose at defending far easier than an actual decent players.
Another is that many people perceive defenders to have a disadvantage because of how much they lose when in reality maybe 2 decent players can easily infiltrate and get in against bots.
A solid defense team will stall a solid attacker team far easier with rallies, vehicles, obstacles and intelligence
