Yes. German cannons have significantly greater penetration.
I guess T-34-57 doesn’t exist…
Also soviet tanks gets much better slopped armor at BR3 while german tanks only get flat armor that can be pierced by almost any lower BR tanks.
All in all the soviet 76 is really good against german tanks. Yes it will struggle against BR4 tanks, but the T-34-57 is here for a reason, if you want a better AT gun, use it.
57mm HE VS 75MM HE? They are bad againt infantry.
With twice the fire rate ? Maybe, but this is a fair trade off for better AT ability.
Tbh I am not against the new shell, but keep it mind the upgrade is just 10mm more pen. That won’t really change anything.
Also I am pretty sure that The F-32 and L-11 guns of the BT-7 and KV-1 can’t use this shell anyway.
Are there any other options? I’ll look into it myself later.
I wish that BR4 KV could be moveto BR3, but I think it has better armor and it’s not possible.

and why would you want to?..panzer IVs are all easy to pen and the BR-350B has less HE filler.
Its a rather unnecessary sidegrade…but by all means.
Penetration only maters up to the point you can comfortably. Excess doesnt make it bettter
Current T34 and KV1 shell has just enough penetration to defeat German BR3 armor - but cant attack BR4 Panthers and Tigers frontally at all, however in return T34 and KV1 have nuke like post pen damage.
If you would give them the stronger ammo with better penetration, those would be more reliable at fighting German BR3 armor at greater ranges and if Germans angle their tanks a bit - but you would lose on their massive post pen damage, while also still just barely not having enough penetration power to attack Panthers and Tigers.
So those rounds would overall be worse than the current ones.
I played/compare those shells at WT long time before, both 1 shot’.
if they add BR-350B at Enlisted but not 1 shot’, that is a intentional nerf
btw I want BR4 kV1/2 go BR 3 , too. Since Pz4H went to br3 ,and BR4 kV1/2 still pen by long75mm, at WT they are 3.7~4.0 I remeber
German tanks have no armor at BR3 so no thanks.

There is a trade off between farming infantry and destroying tanks.
nad panzer IV H does both jobs better! Although I’m not here to complain, apparently there are no better options for the Soviets and the Germans need the PZIV to destroy the Shermans.
Well T34 and KV1 do struggle a bit against 80mm of armor when fighting at range, so such a new round “could” help them a bit, but it simply wouldn’t change anything against fighting BR4 German tanks, but thats what the 57mm gun is for I think.
That new round will have much less post pen damage though, so it might be an actual downgrade in most situations.
They could add those rounds to T34 and KV1, but as a separate ammo load, just like Panzer III N had a few HEAT rounds.

This would not work as both shells are APHE meaning you have no way to tell them apart as the tanker. The name of the shell is not menioned so you would have 2 times the same option displayed.
