Give a bonus of points to TNT kills after an elapsed time

I was talking to a buddy that mentioned it seems strange that TNT (the mines) are only really used to climb up on a tank, then detonate it basically right after.

The suggestion here is that more points are awarded if kills/ tank destructions were obtained through a piece of TNT that was placed in anticipation of enemies being there. A “strategy” bonus. Perhaps 2x points after a full 60 seconds has elapsed?

It does seem that its uses for defensive capabilities are wasted currently, especially as its a manual trigger.

Hm…then AT mines should be treated equally.

Generally I don’t think this community will increase its tactical play by raising score boni.
The remote TNT charges (correct me if you did not mean those) can effectively work for defending buildings you expect the enemy to gather in or build rally points, as well as the primary objectives to defend. If players don’t come to this obvious idea, the implementation of these charges was just a waste of effort.

There’s lot to play with regarding TNT-charges.
Someone was earlier talking about letting teammates use placed TNT:s. That’s a good start.
Likewise, if you drop a charge with one of your soldier, you should also be able to drop the plunge somewhere near. Then you don’t have to stand idle like a retard waiting for that special moment to detonate it. Instead, you see the icon of the plunger and can approach it with any soldier of your squad.

I agree, I’ve posted that before, as well as being able to connect multiple charges to a single plunger. I think being able to place the plunger somewhere would be a huge improvement.

nah this game rewards camping too much already, and why bother when you can just put down ap mines and forget about them
