I don’t know about you guys but I think trying to control the individual soldiers is a bit difficult. We know how important the first minute of the match is to get into position and build spawn points, ammo and sandbags.
I would really like an easier way to have another engineer in my squad help me build faster while the rest of the squad stays back.

After individually selecting the soldier which is a pain. Also, as any engineer knows the X button doesn’t work well either. They have run around in circles and only assist for the last 25% of the building process.
You should be able to order a pioneer to build such thing while you further advance. But that’s maybe over the top, this way everyone could spam spawns super careless without any invested time.
But would be real nice if u can command and engi to build an ammo crate. 
u can by hitting x while looking at what ur makin and then leaving.
u dont need to individually select them if ur fine with all engis in ur squad left alive doing it
Since the player usually hurries forward in faster pace leaving AI to pathfind their way through, they really can´t assist much since you are building before they even get near you. But yes, it is weird that AI is “confused” and run around for a few seconds when you order another engineer to help you. That one definitely should be fixed… eventually.
For things that are easy to build… those really doesn´t matter as much anyway because you are finished quickly alone, and AI becomes useful only when you want build multiple of these defences at the same time.
ive had all the engi ai’s in squad run around aimlessly after i gave the order and all of them were within 10 ft of me
Yeah, I never claimed it does not happen… often enough to be enraging.
ive found that unless the other team kills my engis first it usually works to just start the process, give the order, and leave. it usually works when i do it for building a rp at least.
Haven’t tried yet but doesn’t that only works with more than one engi because u can’t the the structure when not an engineer?
i use it mostly for making a rp. if i dont have another engi in my squad i order the squad to the point and build it myself…
A universall in-wheel command for any engineer in squad to start constucting as soon as blueprints are placed would be soo gooood.
