Oh right, so the fact that you are in obvious disadvantage with most of your tools being effectively irrelevant in the fight with these people is just fine and balanced because technicaly you can oneshot too… With that logic we could say that grenade spams in CBT were balanced, because carbine can oneshot too lfmao. Why are most of the tools irrelevant?. All those squads can carry full semi auto rifles if bolt actions don’t do it for you. Point is gentlemen. They work.

Makes you think why literally EVERY streamer ran around with automatic weapons during the streamer contest last weekend. If bolt actions were truly better, they would be using bolt actions instead.

Same can be said about smgs at range…really not going anywhere fast

You have almost gone from saying there is an advantage in premium to smgs are op we need all smgs.

The only range that actually matters for SMGs is the distance from one end of a capture point to the other. If you are walking at longer distances, that’s probably your fault.

I´m pretty sure I as new player would grind with action bolts against whales armed to the teeth with SMGs and LMGs… Which is going to take forever (at least in Moscow), and long enough to quit in Normandy, until you unlock semi-autos, unless you pay for premium squads or account. Pure fun.
IF that works for you, congratulations. But what I suggested, is to make the game more friendly towards community wider than whales or masochists.
Let me repeat again… allowing few slots to be grindable is not going to make things worse for you in any way.

MP 38, MP 40 begs to differ. They are also supported by loud cheer of every mounted LMG in the game.

Those are “useable” at range but they aren’t going to 1 tap you like a rifle

Having more squad slots aren’t going to make it more friendly for newer players. Because they will only have more rifles to fill it with. You are talking about something else again. Like a campaign lvl match making

What I´m talking about is, that purchasing active slots is giving you big advantage over those who didn´t. Maps that are supporting automatic weapons meta is only one of the symptoms.

Allowing to get at least ONE more vehicle slot for free (by gating it through grind of course… I described it all in suggestion I made) and 2 infantry slots is NOT going to hurt you, game or anybody else. It would only help. People who would buy more are still going to buy more. As I said before, this system already works in WT from beginning of times and there are no big issues with it (gameplay or monetary wise).

Well now we have just rewound 30 or so posts. Agree to disagree on infantry. I use 3 squads, don’t need anything else to compete.

Vehicles I will concede as an advantage

If the amount of “flexibility” offered by vehicles is such a clear cut advantage, why is it so hard to believe that the extra “flexibility” offered by infantry is also an advantage, even if it is a smaller one? If you added a bomber squad into your 4th slot, I guarantee you would at least take it out occasionally if there is a particularly annoying tanker in your match. If you play on D-Day, I guarantee that having a full sniper squad give you a benefit as well. And so on.

The only reason I concede that 2 vehicle slots is an advantage is if you can’t beat a enemy tanker in your tank, you just bring in a plane and deal with him like a revenge bomb. Free players don’t have that option, you either keep losing to that tanker in your tank, or you didn’t bring one anyway, you brought a plane. It just gives you an option for cheap revenge, nothing morE

And even then infantry take out tanks just fine

ik. once i spawn plane i m the only one using it . when i die, i have up tp 3more plane squads to spawn on. its an advantage i have

if they add more vehicles, i can have up to 6 options ingame.

And no. All my squads are anti tank squads, and because I like rifles they may as well be snipers too

I listed my engineer squad had 2 bombers in it who really don’t need cos everyone of my troops kill tanks. They are just incase situation permits me to snipe a tank at range

No the 4th squad I have that never gets used is the mortar squad. I only ever play him for nostalgia mortar squad post scriptum, he is no way useful over the others. It’s a bench warmer

After reading most of the arguments in this thread I’m fine with giving F2P the ability to grind for extra slots.

i will agree with you now on the most recent update with how the Main Battle Tasks work… its kinda lame they only allow you to complete 3 now and then it locks you out of completing any more… it was fine how it was before it gave people a reason to keep queuing up… now the Main Battle Tasks don’t even give you a friggen reward token… like who the hell is gonna wanna spend over an hour playing battles just to get a single fucking additional task done… pardon my french but this is some serious BS now…

You do realize that you get a bronze card for every 3000 campaign xp?. I played one 10 minute round after patch (10k game) I landed 3 bronze cards and a 4th from battletask. That’s a massive buff.

o.o’ really i thought that was just a new counter for the additional tasks. well shiiii thats actually not too bad now.

In that case please consider to take a look at the suggestion that might hopefully resolve the situation or make on of your own. We need normal suggestion, not ranty “Get rid of P2W bs” suggestions that are helpful only at feeding the fire (no offense to OP).

(yes its kinda spam ads time, but without necessary popularity it´s not so likely to happen, and just end up burried in the dust)
