Germany's new attack aircraft

HS 129 needs new modifications for 3-5 Br

The RLM halted all ongoing work on the Hs 129 in September of 1944, ordering the existing aircraft used on weapons testing to be grounded. These weapons included the Gero flamethrower, which was mounted under the fuselage with a 79.25 gallon (300 L) fuel tank. Trials were conducted with tubes for 8.27 inch (21 cm) Wfr.Gr. 21! and 11 inch (28 см) Wfr.Gr. 28 rockets mounted under the Hs 129B’s wings. Tests were also conducted using the 70MM Panzerblitz (Tank Lightning) 1 and 55мм Panzerblitz 2 anti-tank rockets.
