I am grinding this game for a few weeks with a friend. The Sherman is brokenly OP.
You cannot pen him with a Pz III, no mather what angle or direction and since the armament stats for the Pz IV are the same so there point in grinding for unlocks.
The Sherman cannot be outmanouvered or out outturned by the turrent if the users knows how to move his mause or sticks.
I tried and the only thing i achieved was to damage it’s engine. You cannot even destroy it’s tracks. All AP-Shells for an engine?
I die, he repairs and goes on.
If you want realism go and enlist to the armed forces of your nation, but for a gane the should be balancing.
Same story for bombing runs. Bomb the spawns or the path from spawns to obj, resupply, repeat.

are you talking about jumbo, m4a3e2, or the m4a2? since sherman and sherman jumbo are different tanks also as an fyi if you get oneshot then it’s likely he hit ammo or used HE since american AP don’t sharpel correctly
M4A2 is the suspect. You cannot beat it.

The only method that is somewhat consistent is throwing the explosive charge.
But only for the cases it does not sit somewhere out of bounce and snipes your positions with it’s redicilous amount of ammo.
ummmm are you sure you aren’t bad? since m4a2 and m4a3e2 aren’t the same on armor levels, also you don’t need to track or barrel him you just need to shoot him in the sides or rear like i’ve done last night, for me, when i tank swapped someone and used their puma to kill an m4a2
yesterday, i tried to flank a jumbo at ver sur mer (invasion) down the beach.
i have axies max level normandy. i drove down the beach, had the best side angle i could get (nearly 50 degrees) i shoot in the side of his turret, at the MG Port, engine, side of the tank (tub), and well, i only got 1 kill and destroyed the chain.
after that, he turned his turret to my direction and one hitted me at the fron
kind of nice experience
edit: than i wondered, that there were panther wrecks, well honestly, i only want to have the tiger 1
fax aye, i just read a forum where some no skill player was complaining that puma and Pz 3 was too superior over the M5 and M8 while the Jumbo was dominating all of them.

D) the jumbo has terrible AT capabilities since m72 is shit
E) Tiger 1 and panther exist

Yea! You just have to drive very slowly through a bunch of rough terrain and avoid all the infantry with explosives then you can go about half a mile into the out of bounds area and explode. 
fun fact that was a year ago, idiot, and in that time i managed to destroy jumbos with the panzer 3N and managed to get them in the gray zone of D-Day

but u do realise it’s not easy to kill a tank camping out of bonds with infantr right? you either get killed by ‘out of bonds’ or get swarmed by infantry
woah u did it with Pz.kpfw.III Ausf. N??? sheesh must be good, but honestly not being able to penetrate front armor really is a BIG disadvantage, as they can fire at you infinite times before you can get to the side
do you know what shells the jumbo actually fires?
no… but my friend used panther against it and got 1 shoted across the map from the front hull.
then your friend is objectively shit and allowed the jumbo to hit his ammo rack.
oh btw the jumbo’s stock shell is a solid AP shell with only 92mm of penetration AT MOST

a fucking brain, or a panther or a tiger 1. or if you are ballsy enough for it suicide rush it with a det pack or AT weapon like panzerfaust
chill out dude, i obv don’t have such good tanks, and when i carry at weapons i either get out of bonds or get blitzed by several enemy squadrons, just a question, no need to rage

You can get to them always but you need a soldier II with his sprint perk, then you get the +15? perk can’t remember and a lot of stamina, and your tank problem is gone. An AT guy works too and you don’t need to get very close to the armor, its a suicide mission but hell, i would love to see the faces of the guys who i killed that way xD.
