there are tiger 1 and panther wrecks scatered on map. We will get something to fight jumbos and then some. dont worry
Panther would be fine but entire tank gameplay needs huge fix shody damage models and shells not working properly!

The Tiger or Panther are its only equals. Itâs crazy that they put a Jumbo in, without giving the Germans anything to match it.

Oh, One thing I dont accept Tiger Or Panther if its not completely immune to Sherman or T-34 from front minus lucky shot that might cause shell jam turret known to happen once or twice against Panther!
The Jumbo is only heavily armored from the front. Itâs the only tank the americans get that competes with the german options in the game. Armor might be a bit OP, coulda given us the E8 instead, but they didnât.
Yâall want tiger and panther? Same problem but the other way around. Without a long 76 thereâs no allied answer for the Tiger or Panther, and german tankers could just operate with impunity.

or you know just drive to the side of it since the tank is just as blind as the other two and with subpar pen. due it having the 75mm gun
Just remove it from the game.
The jumbo has no business being in normandy, it was never there historically. It shouldnât be there in this game.

Neither of those tanks can penetrate a Jumbo frontally, except for the MG port in the hull, which is like ~15cm across in size, compared to a ~3m wide tank. Meanwhile, the Jumbo can penetrate those two tanks anywhere in the front, except for the angled plate above the transmission

Personally I think a 76 Sherman would be a better equivalent to germanyâs late game Pz 4âs than a Jumbo, I am confused as to why the devs decided to put the Puma and Stuart in the same campaign as the Jumbo without adding some sort of BR system to prevent Jumbos from stomping the low tier tanks
If the devs REALLY want to add a German counterpart to the Jumbo however, they should consider the following tanks.
Slightly Less powerful Jumbo Equivalents
Hetzer or Jagdpanzer IV - these two tanks both have a roughly equivalent gun and enough armor to resist the American 75mm, while not having enough pen to kill the jumbo frontally either. downside is both of these vehicles are casemates.
Slightly More Powerful Jumbo equivalents
Tiger 1 - The Tiger 1 would be a good option if its side armor wasnt so good, it has 60-80mm of side armor in some places which would make it difficult for a stuart to kill a Tiger with a side shot (in my opinion, if you get shot in the side by another tank, you should be dead or at least badly damaged).
Panther - The Panther could be a little too powerful if added, it wouldnt have side armor too powerful for the light tanks to deal with like the Tiger, but it would effectively be a tank that would have the same upsides as the Jumbo (more or less immune to all current enemies guns from the front) with a gun that features much higher velocity and penetration. For that reason, I think the Panther would be slightly more powerful than the Jumbo and for this reason I believe their would be a better addition for the germans.
My preferred Jumbo Equivalent
Panzer IV/70 - The panzer IV/70 could also be a very good option as it has good frontal armor but weak side armor (like the jumbo), it also has a much more powerful gun with about 190mm of pen at 100m (the same one on the Panther), its major downside is its weak side armor, and the fact that the gun is mounted to the hull, and not on a rotating turret. The powerful gun means it could be a decent Jumbo counter, but the fact that you lack a rotating turret and side armor means it can also be countered by flanking light tanks if the map is open enough to allow for it.

Actually, all tanks that take part on early landing should be Duplex Drive tanks with their flotation screens and start from water! Bunkers should also contain working artillery pieces!
Frontally immune to both of those tanks, whilst being able to pen both of them in return. If this ability had been given to Germany, the forum would be on fire right now.

Finding money whales with jumbos over Normandy shooting inside their spawn at your puma / Pz 3 N Angling their mg port.
While no Germans had the Pz 4⌠now thatâs some foward thinking from the devsâŚ
I swear, I already encountered 3 jumbo this week. Probably the same guy, but damn.
The goddamn jumbo should go, not include a tiger to give M5 lot of struggleâŚ
Like, I recently unlocked the Pz IV J. And can it can be frontally penned when angled and not from any M5.
I donât see how that is the chase for the jumbo when facing German tanksâŚ
But thatâs my opinion.

Firefly would be even better - more pen, but less crew and post pen damage

I knew someone would make a post like this where people start complaining about how âgermany suffersâ when in Normandy they got OP tanks (early and mid game) and pretty decent weapons overall, the only thing germany do not excel is planes lol

germanyâs fault.
*americans gets tanks that never saw normandy in the first place ( which itâs the most powerfull of the entire campaign )
also germanyâs fault because i canât rush with my already broken m5 ree nor i donât know how to shoot them. ( puma is broken as well with no doubts btw )

Who cares about early and mid game if you can literally skip those with money and late game plays against early/mid game
This isnât War Thunder. Most of the equipment Germany gets here is actually inferior.
