He had mp43/I in normandy closed beta tests. Just need to wait and we probably ill have it again.

Premium account does help, but trying to bring up both factions more or less on par (“join any team” on) splits the progress to the point I often feel I’m going nowhere anyway.
I wonder when (if) I’ll eventually reach end levels.
I think the Berlin fg42s should be replaced by the STG variants. Fg42 should be reserved for something such as Normandy where fallschirmjager was actively present. Berlin would just in general make much more sense to have volksturm, etc. running around with STG 44s instead of FG42s.
The 9th fallschirmjaeger division participated in the battle of seelowe heights as well as delaying actions along the river oder and outskirts of Berlin.
Initially tasked with defending seelowe heights they quickly collapsed under bombardment and sustained soviet assault. Waffen SS Nordland met the retreating fallschirmjaeger and organized a briefly successful counter attack.
By april 20 or something, all 9th FJ members had retreated inside the berlin outer defensive ring.
9th fallschirmjaeger was, to my knowledge, the only homogenous FJ unit to fight in Berlin. With the increasingly common use of ad-hoc units and 1st fallschirmjaeger attempting to leave Italy (for Germany) during the final days of the war, it is possibly there were more fallschirmjaeger present at Berlin.
Several Fallschirmjaeger units were reflagged into other units so it’s possible, once again, that stocks of Fallschirmjaeger equipment would find their way into Berlin.

91st air landing division: reflagged into 344th volkesgrenadier division
FJ regiment hubner: surrendered in Bremen
FJ regiment Ramcke: Surrendered in Africa

There was also a LOT less squads back then.
I think either fg42s should be be a squad unique weapon (that isnt a premium squad) for fallschirmjager or a battlepass unlock for a campaign such as Berlin. Currently there is just a disproportionate amount of fg42s for Berlin due to the progression’s current setup for volksturm squads (in theory you may have a full roster of riflemen and bombers carrying fg42s).
Perhaps if the fg42 (being a battle rifle) and limited to the potential guardsman class, this would be an appropriate way to represent the fg42 in berlin.

I too think the FG42 should be more limited than it currently is. I just wanted to highlight that it does have a rightful place in the Berlin campaign, albeit not as a standard issue weapon.
Personally I hope they add more volksgewehr weapons.

I think the FG42 should be limited, but not so much to a single class thing. But I feel that also about the likes of all automatic rifle type weapons, like the STG is/will be.

sadly they’ll say that as an excuse for their MGs firing rifle rounds to have no vertical climb for full auto, when the soviets have their almost pistol caliber smgs with no climb as well.
TL;DR: add more climb to these weapons including soviet SMGs for full auto

Yes, accuarcy PPSH is historical
Not in full spay mode at 100m
even 5.56mm modern assault rifles can’t do it
PPSH is heavy 4.2 kg with ammo drum + bullet 7,62x25 have good ballistics in close distance

It really depends on the 5.56 rifle in question, the cycling system and muzzle device matter a lot. A suppressed M4 with hydraulic buffer like some special forces use has minimal muzzle rise, even when fired in full auto, and most bullpups experience less muzzle rise on account of the difference of leverage, especially if they have a lower mass bolt carrier group, like on the Tavor.
