Germany BR III is perhaps the worst nation/BR to play at

So i just hopped on and played a match of BR III Germany, and I’m not joking when I say hell or even purgatory would be preferable. All it literally was was KV-1 and RMN spam. The whole thing. It took me until literally the second last point to get above 6 kills because I would consistently just get spawned killed. Now usually, I average around the 60 - 80 kills in a match, and the 2500 - 3500 points.

Call skill issue or german bias or whatever you like, but this is what my experience was like and no one can argue with me about how I feel.

This is urgent that darkflow reconsiders balancing, as I’m not the only one who has complained.

I have a very good level three German lineup, but usually get seal clubbed at level three with the Germans so I rarely play it. I usually play level two or level five with Germans, level two with Soviets and level three and level five with Allies. I rarely win with my level two Allies, so I rarely play with them anymore.

Well, you were up against Face tac. I would expect he was in stack.

Probably the worst match you could end up in. Definitely not a reflection of average BR3 Germany match.

RMN is very rare nowadays.

Every soviet match I get 3 or 4 people have one. They might as well add it to the tech tree at this point.

Germany br 3 isnt bad, its actually quite good. (Lacking a few things but over all fun)

Thing about BR 3 USSR is they have top knotch of everything, so its quite popular. Bit of a sweet spot atm…BR2 and 3

Is it really popular? There’s literally only one BR3 smg. Yes, with broken stats. But the non existent variety is so boring.

The Japanese BR3 is clearly the best. It does have very good infantry weapons and can’t get into uptier match.

The American BR3 benefits heavily from it too, every time it goes up against the Japanese. Plus it has BARs and Shermans, arguably the best BR3 tanks.

The Soviets have good equipment in BR3 (as usual with any Soviet BR), but the lack of variety is so sad. I never thought of it as exceptionally popular. Especially in comparison to Soviet BR2, where the potential for seal clubbing is so much higher.

The German BR3 suffers from underperforming TT rifle and smgs.
But if you have non TT content as well, BR3 Germany is really fun.

Overall in relation to Germany.

If you prefer vehicle gameplay, this is a really good faction. But if you prefer infantry gameplay, Germany is probably the most painful faction to grind through.

Theres alot of variety of strong stuff. Its a great BR because You can pick any squad type and have access to top shelf equipment. There is no weakness

Svt-38, Svt-38 sniper, ppsh box, dinnerplate, faust, t34-57, KV-1, la-5, Yak-9T, 2x IL 2s

None now (last patch). Sweet spots arent just about what you have, its about what the others dont. (I.e mag fed semi auto, semi auto sniper, heavy tank, strong fighters). Conditions are perfect at BR 3

BR4 and BR5

I would say they’re still better for BR2 sovs. BR3 sovs can always get uptiered and thus face all of the stuff you have mentioned:

I played some battles in Soviet yesterday and saw that the good players are back! Now those who only play Germany can understand how the other players felt when they were fighting Germany.
Also, notice that on your team, only you have built rally, but most of the enemy team has taken the trouble to build one, this is clearly a difference in skill.

The Germans’ only weakness is the BR3 semi automatic, they have good things in everything else.

Well I will say, I have amazing fun with my german BR3 lineup and often have good success, however I did have a horrid match today of literally non stop KV-1 spam, also noticed today that the only way to kill a KV-1 with a TNT pack is to climb on its roof, which is fair, but highly annoying when its rushing forward and its friendly infantry are actively supporting it.

I mean I think I alone killed 7 KV’s that match, ended up losing on the last point, would have won had we not lost like about 500 tickets on the first point.

Or hell just not have the last point not be so awful to assault across the river from the lumber mill.

But despite that match, german BR3 is extremely powerful, from the MG34, Pz3N (Its new HEAT shells literally shred everything they face its amazing, just need to get rid of the APHE and replace it with HE to truely make it godlike.), and hear me out here, the Fw190 A-8 is actually surprisingly good once you can get a hand of the jank ass flight model.

The Gewher 41 I honestly find great, the slow reload can be an issue, but its not too bad as long as you manage ammo well and reload after every 5 shots unless you need to keep firing.

The lack of a amazing SMG is a shame, I would love for the MP35/1 to get a buff for what it is.

But yeah tldr, Great Tank, Great MG, Good Rifle, Solid Aircraft, Lacking SMGs, Wont bother with AT since the panzerfaust is amazing but cloned by the soviets (Which tbf, is fair, the soviets captured so many they issued them to their own troops)

I think germany struggles from a lack of a heavy tank at the BR, they dont really have anything that can tank any proper amounts of shots. But I dont know what you could put in to fill a heavy tank roles while not also being BR4.

Maybe a Jagdpanzer 4? Or Hetzer? They have similar armour to the sherman, slightly better placement ofc, but similar non the less.

Pure delusion of the biggest forum troll, BR4 Germany gets uptiered to BR5 80% of the time so you are not getting uptiered to fight them more than 20% of the matches.

I would never decide to play that BR as it’s a suicide decision on your part as a player. You can’t compete vs overpowered Soviets of BR5 and you want me to play with even worse BR4 gear? Yeah no thanks.
