i know its a clickbaity title and i am sure you have already seen similar posts but after yet another frustrating match i also have to ask this:

Why do they suck so much ? i dont mean the ingame balance, but the players themselves.

like i cant even :

  • no building spawn points,

  • in conquest mode - everyone is moving around like a single unit ( they all cap A, then they all rush B, while they all rush B 1 enemy sneaks behind them and starts capping A, they still cap B then they rush back to A and so on)

  • enemy is capturing a point ? lets stand right outside the capture zone and shoot from there.

  • In invasion instead when defending - they rush the enemy, when attacking - they stay behind

Now i had similar experiences in other campaigns as well but not at such high frequency.

i avoid playing solo because i know it will frustrate me to no end, at least when i am playing with friend i know i can trust 1-2 people in my team to be somewhat competent.
and we can have some fun.
But even when playing with friends it gets frustrating : every game ends with at least one of us having the first place and the others in top 3 or 5.
I think yesterday was the first match where one of us wasn’t in the first place, but that was because we had the premium suicide bomber on our team.

Just now i rage-quit the airfield invasion, i wanted to play with a tank, killed 2 enemy tanks, shoot several infantry i see and BAM first point lost at +900 respawn points, fine it happens, i start retreating, destroying another tank and several AT squads but they finally get me and - we have no spawn points built, enemy is 3/4 into capturing the point, only 1 guy in our team is trying to defend the point, others ? sitting in the distance trying to snipe the enemy. some guys are still at the previous point . i spawn send the bots to the point while i try to build a spawn point but they quickly cap the second point as well, and i just left. +900 respawn point, 2 points captured + all the air baloons are still up.

sorry for the rant, i am just fed up with this shit.

Exactly, I don’t know what they sniping since most of the enermys are capping inside the bunkers or houses, I rarely had a lost game that I’m not 1st placed. Mostly got more score that the sum of bottom half.

Because normandy is unbalanced. You can only suffer as german. And you play with bots, because players dont want suffer from similar problems that you said. :frowning:

The developers can attempt to balance the game, but they can’t balance players.

This is valid for all factions in all campaigns.

Difference with good and average players is so huge in this game. Mayby biggest then any other game i have ever played.

Its pretty strange how its possible to make bigger impact to match then some bottom players by just sending bots in cap zone while ‘afking’ myself and suiciding after bots die, then repeat with other squad. So some players are just worse then bots.

And when combined that typical mentality ‘im not bad other is just cheater/op/whatever excuse’ we get situation where everything is unbalanced and whole game is just big suffering

Not only about skills on fps, the new players with starter equipment are too hard to deal with experienced and equipped with full upgraded top lvl equipment. Basically, a skillful and experienced player with full upgraded equipment hv a chance to hold a CP from full team new player’s attack, by his own. Especially most of them are only shooting, not really attacking.

Once I hv a conquest game, I don’t know why I’m the only one using Auto weapon, and they hv only 1 puma shows in game, no other vehicles.I feel their pain when facing my Thompsons, after a while I few very bad and decided to not shooting, only use the bots to fight, you know what, they slaughtered by my bots …

i think many people like you are overreacting.

i’m not trying to be offencive even if i sounds like ( and i’m sorry ).

but are you playing for gaming? or have social experiments and/or watch your teammates and judge them based on what you see?

i mean, you shouldn’t care that much of WHAT the others players do, but what YOU do.
now, i’m not accusing you of " being bad " like others many others members would do, because i do not make assumption over someone that i don’t know. for what i care, you can be the next shroud/summit or whover out there is considered a pro player, or even the worst on this universe for that regard.
i simply don’t know, and i don’t care that much.

the main point of enlisted is playing and having fun.
i don’t really see why people gets so upset with questionable teammates or caring so much about loosing.
i guess we are all different. but hateing on the others ain’t gonna bring you any joy i’m afraid.

you should play more relaxed. and accept the fact that sometimes you lose, others you win. and not everyone acts like how we would.

just for the record as a somewhat " veteran " of this game, my win rate as a german over moscow are at 50%, over normandy 75% and berlin 30%. should that make me stop playing berlin because i lack of equipment, and in many occasions i have questionable teammates?
of course not.
it’s a game after all, people should and can play like they want. it does affect perhaps my xps, but nothing that i cannot recover in some other matches.

an effective way to mitigate this issue, ( as you mentioned ) is playing with friends.

but on the other hand, devs are working on a skill based matchmaker, so it’s not all that " lost " and be forced to suffer for the eternity.

with this being said, the majority of germans players that plays normandy i suppose because it’s a famous campaign.

also, as a free to play, everyone can play this game, so even people that perhaps never touched fps ( like a couple of friends that i invited ) and despite them not being good, or not understanding that much, they have fun. that’s what truly matters. with over time, i’m sure they can improve like anyone else.

as my favorite quote says:

but i guess this is just my personal experience and view on the situation.

try to not think about it, as nothing much can be done about it at the moment.

It’s mostly about time of the day you play.
For example I used to play at late evning - night and germans were stomped all the time. One day I had a chance to play during midday and it felt like completelly different game. We (ger) made blitzkrieg so hard that I haven’t even died once nor I saw the enemy because the frontline was moving so fast (atack invasion).

well tbh i think is bcause the “core” german player base, is divided in 3 different campaigns (with almost the same grind weapons) so that why there is mostly 2 or 3 competent guys in each game, the rest are just trolling around.

Completely agree about the time of day. On NA, my experience has been (across all campaigns as a whole):

Working Hours/Nights (after ~10pm) - Axis stomp
After work/weekends - Allies stomp

There is usually some time during the transition in which you can get very close games (which are the most fun imo). I’ve started using the above to pick my faction if I am leveling or picking the “loser” side when I want a challenge or am squading up with other try-hards.
