Hey, I was really surprised of that, as I came to the same conclusion as you did.
Axis is popular again? I don’t know what happened. I only wanted to pilot my g10 yesterday in Normandy and found similar results.
My hypothesis: Since Japanese faction is popular thanks to more new content, allies players flee allied faction. They join Sovs instead, who are strong as usual.

Germans were playable since victory mains moved from US to Jap faction.

Until recently, the Soviet Union was powerful, but now the bots are filled with beginners whose level is better.
Something along those lines. there’s a strong playerbase with Sovs as well recently. (like fighting zergs).
I GUESS that it will switch again with super Persh? Maybe. Definitely will revert itself if allies get an even better SF rifle than m2.

I doubt it. As long as the Japanese are the only faction standing against single faction, not against two. They’ll keep bullying the Yanks.
Aren’t Sovs in the same situation?
Germany BR1-2 sucks that’s why they only play at BR5

Sovs are already quite powerful and ironically have most best USA toys already because reasons.

True, they are.
But until there is some greater reason for victory mains to move from the Japs to Soviets, nothing will change.
And I don’t see any reason why that should happen.
I doubt Super Pershing would be enough to stack the whole US faction so much that it would steamroll the Japanese and Germans combined.
Especially since Germans are more popular than US by nature/default.
