German submachine gun recoil bias exposed @Wastedwoodsman was right

It’s clear that there is bias, I’ve put together probably the most intensive stat analysis in history, took me 3 days over the corse of 13 hours.

You know what since we now have Assault Rifles just revert submachine gun recoil back to Pre-Stalingrad levels, it was fine there.

I’m updating the video because I got the AS-44 M5 recoil wrong, it actually has way less than shown

There is a price you have to pay when firing 7.62 Tokarev, but it is still worth it.

Who will win the battle, someone who shoots at a lesser volume or someone who shoots at a higher volume? I’ll give you a hint, it isn’t the lesser volume.

Also, please show the dispersion for each Russian and German smgs.

The lesser volume is more efficient because you don’t have to worry about the AI aiming algorithm, the lesser volume from the MP-40 and Beretta M38A also annihilate at 100 meters, the PPSh-41 can’t do that due to its recoil no matter how hard you try to control it. (In real life the PPSh-41 was considered to be the most effective submachine gun at a distance due to its low recoil, high velocity, and rate of fire, but the MP-40 was slightly lower in recoil due to its telescoping bolt)

I don’t have that data available, but at 100 meters it doesn’t effect the MP-40 or Beretta M38A.

The AI is the least of my concerns when I have an actual player dead-eyeing me. The AI is taken care of by my 1000 rpm fire rate, even if they do turn around (source: myself). Also, does 100 yards matter if 20 rounds have already left the barrel of my gun and hit the enemy? The bullets won’t miss if I aim correctly since the dispersion is extra low for Soviet SMGs.

As for the PPSH 41 and every other gun, it should shoot how it shoots in real life. If there is a gun better than a certain gun, so be it. But that does not mean that you can’t use a certain gun just as effectively. An M1 Garand may be superior in every way to a Kar98k, but if a Kar98k is used more effectively than a Garand, do its advantages matter?

I see my bullets flying around missing after 50 yards. Also, if they are accurate beyond 100 yards, then let them be accurate beyond 100 yards. Why is there a prohibition here from the devs? Don’t they do less damage after 100 yards anyways?

AI pileup on objectives is a problem, when you walk in to clense them you need to take cover quickly after firing a burst. Play 2 offensive matches as the Soviet Union, 1 with the RD-44 and one with the AVT-40 and you’ll notice how differently the AI targets you.

You sound like a PC Player, on console recoil is harder to control because we have to account for vertical and horizontal recoil with a joystick.

I’ve been using the Beretta M38A for a long time, the dispersion doesn’t matter as the weapon still slaughters at 100 meters, and if you want to talk about missing, talk about the PPSh-41, a submachine gun that has more recoil than the AS-44 Model 5 or talk about the Federov which is a fully automatic battle rifle that 1 shot downs someone at 100 meters with less recoil than the PPSh-41.

Pre-Stalingrad levels were extremely realistic in that regard.

With which weapons?

What is the bigger danger, the AI or the player?

Console players are at a disadvantage unless it’s Madden, 2K, or MLB The Show :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I main the PPSH, and the recoil does nothing to me. I laser people with accuracy, and no one has yet to beat the volume of fire it puts out. Their only hope is that they get the jump first. Even though the recoil should be less, I can still rake the enemy. The M38A has no recoil, but to make up for this, the developers added dispersion so that my 0 recoil is worthless since I will miss it no matter what in range. Its volume of fire is easily outperformed by guns like the PPSH and forces the range game (feat Dispersion). This is the part where I get clowned on because my next shots will fly everywhere, only hitting arms or legs with an occasional chest shot. I proceed then to get melted by a PPSH. This and the Winchester M1895 are why I main Soviets and never use an M38A or MP40 if I play Axis.

I wasn’t there for that :frowning:

MP40, M38A, M3001, MP18, MP35/I, almost every Thompson, Japanese semi-auto rifles, and a few others

The player is, but remember that their AI is following them and will be on high alert after you spray their commander.

You’ve already stated that you don’t use it at medium ranges.

Are your guns fully upgraded?

Back before the Stalingrad merge, submachine guns had half their current recoil.

Even the M1921/28 for the Soviets? I always laser people at range with it.

K guess I should watch the video and not just the first comments to know whats going on here, comment deleted.

Which is why you hold down the trigger or wait and lean. The line is not the problem, it is the people with a brain that is.

When?

Yes, should they have a higher dispersion than the soviet smgs without upgrades?

And their dispersion?

That is why I said almost every Thompson. That is the only saving grace.

So after watching this video I ask myself how on earth does one possibly come to the conclusion that “German weapons are better, because I just showed how Soviet weapons perform”

Seriously either show footage of both sides or your video is completely pointless.

2024 and people still somehow find random shooting range video more scientific than the data sheet.

problem is that he is using fake ingame values for recoil instead of actual values.

btw look at actual recoil in this table

Take your meds, schizo

yeah sorry.

but console experience is very much different from pc experience.

and what you call " controlling recoil " it’s very laughable.

How is recoil control even a reasonable argument? Everyone gets the same recoil stats, but you control it differently than I.

are you new or something?

fairly sure you don’t and quite can’t controll the recoil from controller the same way you do on pc.

( p.s it’s not me shitting on consoles. matter of fact i don’t really care. but for someone to make comparisons and judge as " ultimate proof " like op did in other treads of what he is experiencing as factual for literally everyone, that’s called dihonesty. and i’m surprised i have to point out that there are differences between PC and console version despite being on the same build )
