German small arms rework

1. For riflemen, replace the FG 42 family with MKb 42 w/ bayonet attached, MP 43, and StG 44 line.

2. For snipers, give them scoped FG 42 and scoped FG 42 II and fold their bipods. Maybe remove scoped MKb 42 and scoped StG 44 as they are very redundant and their performance lacking for sniping purpose.

3. For assaulters, give them Suomi KP 31 as replacement for missing MKb 42, MP 43, and StG 44.

4. For machinegunners, replace the MG 15 with MG 42 w/ 150-250 rounds belt

This rework will give them some semblance of historical accuraty.

Personally I’d love that. Giving all soldiers a rifle specifically made for elite paratrooper units was SUPER idiotic. StG would be much better choice both from historical and balance perspective.
But now it’s far too late. Every nation has it’s own little ugly abomination of SF rifle so touching anything will cause huge backslash.

So for me the solution is simple: avoid BR5 at all cost, ww2 ends at BR4.

I agree, however the problem is if you choose any BR4 weapons your are playing BR5 level. The solution, which DF seems to be allergic to is make BR5 a solo, by itself BR level. But, like I have said countless times, i am not holding my breath that DF will do the right thing, on anything.
