Soviet premium paratroopers have high BR weapons for their class loadouts. German paratrooper snipers for example get the sniper gewehr 43 while soviets get the AVS sniper.
Suggestion:
German Paratrooper Mortar loadout recieves their BR V mortar
German Paratrooper Sniper loadout recieves FG-42 II with scope
German AT squad recieve panzerfaust 100 or ofenrohr

Germany also faces the US. You should look at what US paratroopers carry as well.

Soviet paratroopers can change to any level weapon they want since they are the ONE and ONLY paratrooper squad in the game that is ALLOWED this option. Makes no sense, well, maybe to DF since they found a reason to give one and only one faction this option. I would love to know why, but I am sure that information is above my pay grade.

They probably were just too lazy to give soviet paratroopers unique weapons and they disguised their incompetence as “unique mechanic”

This was already a case. And it was changed for quite logical reason.
Because both weapons shares the same ammo, you wouldn’t get any bonus ammo.
Not that I usually get kits from my box (I usually spawn on the ground already)
But im not real fond of My Vickers squad assault weapon choice…

I wish they would let us to change their guns. I’m tired of that crappy event italian smg with 20 rounds at BR2. Beretta M38 is fine as it’s a BR1 weapon but it’s not viable when uptiered and you can’t really take them to BR3-5.
And premium Krieghoff is just a worse FG42 II so why bother with that squad? I haven’t bought it and don’t expect me to buy it even on at -75% discount.
Game made by Russians = Soviet bias. Same can be said about their body armor that lowers their dmg by 10% and can bounce shells from time to time even from German MG on top of their tank. They also have super powerful smgs at all BRs, their Winchester rifle has the best stats of all rifles besides of Enfield. They also are only nation with unnerfed explosive weapons in form of RMN-50 because they are Soviets so they have to be ultra powerful. Do i need to talk about T-34 and KV-1 armor? I don’t think so. What about SVT-38 in BR3? Very fast reload speed and stable gun with not much of recoil while G41 on GER side needs 3.8sec to reload is not as stable. They also have multiple rocket planes at BR1-3, at BR3 you have overpowered premium plane with great cannon that can pen BR5 German tanks like hot knife through a butter.

They have two. 1 event, 1 premium. Only Soviets can switch weaponry.

The fact that the Soviets have the ONLY paratrooper squad with interchangeable irritates me, since, my Allies ONLY have a level five, so they are useless unless I want to always play level five. My Germans have a level one, which I used in matches from level 1-3. I also have a level five German Paratrooper squad, and then I won a level two paratrooper squad in the event, which really was the only decent thing I won other then the Winchester 1866. So, It sucks that Dark Force in their infinite wisdom decided that one and only one faction gets this, but the sheer amount of stupid things I see them do, it’s not surprising. 
If Dark Force is NOT going to make this right and change each and every paratrooper squad to interchangeable weapons, then they should at least offer up a couple more allies paratrooper squads so I can use them in more then one level. Same should be said for the Japanese. Of course, I have been complaining that DF should change all the premium and event squads to interchangeable weapons since we pay for them.

Here are all my Paratrooper squads. All are either premium or event, which means I paid for all of them and they should all have fully interchangeable weapons loadouts.
But you still have br1 paras? You said “HAD”?
I see you sadly miss the Commonwealth br5 para gentlemen.
Their main weapon is so great, that the crate is not necessary.
Good thing because assault give only the now br2 Thompson 
(still good in close quarters)
