Hear me out as I have brought it up before…all factions should have access to a Premium squad like this for 850 gold. I know everyone says the squad sucks and the gun isnt worth it but that’s by us who have played for a while and advanced to bigger and better. For a BEGINNER, this is a cheap way to add an extra squad in the premium slot that they can have fun with…even more seasoned players can add a second higher BR weapon I believe…but the best thing is the added 100% xp booster that can work with the Premium account booster allowing beginners a way to grind quicker and gets them more invested in the game.
If beginners buy these cheap squads and a Premium account to grind quicker, Gaijin is happy because they are making money. In turn maybe they release an event that has some cool squads (like a previous post…french legionnaires, or Gurkhas, Navajo Codetalker radiomen, etc.) keeping seasoned players happy.
Win = Win = Win
So veterans don’t knock the beginner squads as they have a purpose and can be handy…can you tell that I really want some cool new event squads if Gaijin isn’t going to make it easy to win some of the old ones?
The MP18 premium squad should have been a level one squad when it was introduced. The Allies, Soviets and the Japanese all have level one Medic or assaulter premium squads, all except for the Germans. The MP18 before some re buffing was complete trash, nothing worthy of being called BR2. The MP18 was a predecessor to the MP28 and MP34, so why would they make it level two? 
Even with the MP18 upgrade, the squad should still be dropped to level one, thus giving ALL the factions that level one medic or assaulter premium squad. It makes no sense, but neither does giving the Soviets body armor and the only paratrooper squad with unlocked weapons. 
BTW, I have THREE level one Allied premium smg squads, and Gaijin couldn’t give the Germans one? If they did, then it had to be a very early premium squad that I have never seen.
Technically we do have the Berreta Paratrooper squad at BR I, so I think that counts as you can also spawn them on the ground, also they’re really good. They were my first premium squad in the game
I have that one, but the Germans really need a full time level one smg premium squad, which the MP18 would have been perfect. To be honest, if it had interchangeable weapons, I would shit can the MP18 for any of the level one SMG’s. Personally. of the Dev’s are not going to buff the FNAB it should be dropped to level one, then I would have an excuse to use it.
Removing low BR squads from all-year-round sale is honestly a crime. Devs take away good starter squads only to sell said squads once or twice a year without a discount, or with a discount as part of a squad pack which always has different BR squads in it.
Don’t worry DF soon will be nerfing it to the ground as people have already mentioned it has unrealistic rof.
So Germany will be left with only expensive premiums as they are the paypig nation, want to have fun and not get murdered constantly by op guns? Then better buy pps-43 squad.
