Seriously, there hasn’t been any major contents for German since the APCs and Paratroper. No reason for anyone to play German except out of loyalty. USSR has the best starter line up out of all nation. German have the worst AT, mediocre SMG (br1and br2) and worst tank round compare to other nations. Planes are decents but nobody seem to play them or just pancake their Stuka

But Germany has 20 bolt-actions rifle and SMGs, that is so OP because 80% of is just useless placrholder to increase grind.
Jokes aside, Germany isn’t weak, when compared to other factions, I won’t rate each gear because that would take forever, but compared to Japan, Germany is in a mighty good position though there are field where allies have better tools at their disposal which is fine, each faction should come with some strengths and weaknesses.
But Germany really should get content like all other factions, its just dumb to punish Germany because they were in 5 campaigns, there are tons of possibilities to expand, like adding the tanks, aircraft and weapons of Italy, Hungary, Romania or other Axis nations.

There is also nothing Germany really needs, they are covered on all their bases, while western Allies needs a high br portable anti tank, Russia needs better lmgs at br 2 and a semi auto at that br, and Japan needs a land based attacker and a proper high br AT cannon

Bruh, iconic vehicles like P26/40 and Stuka G are yet to be added to the game, its not just Germany but the entire community that benefits.

The kannonevogel would likely be barely airborne , this is going off of the duck they tested in the Tunisia CBT, also I feel like it’s a stretch to call the Italian heavy tank iconic

Germany isnt abandoned but they are the lowest priority for the devs as they have the most stuff.

Germanys biggest issue in terms of balance was the lack of low br paras, which was “fixed” by the
Italians getting their lower rank.
Otherwise Germany still misses a lot of “iconic” stuff, but Allies still need better high end SMGs and Launchers and Soviets Low BR MGs and Japan is still a skeleton and in my opinion needs (more) planes that dont take off from the stupid carrier.

lol. except few tanks on BR1 and 2 that cant pen KV1 germans can pen all tanks frontally(with exception of jumbo, but you can still pen him through MG port).

I wouldn’t say abandoned … especially if we are talking events.
They just got an Assault Engineer Event Squad last month
They are tied for most event squads of the 4 factions (Germany have 8, USA has 8, Soviets have 6, and Japan have 3).
As far as tree stuff, they’ve gotten some new goodies, but nothing groundbreaking and I think this is where you are coming from. That being said, they also have one of the most rounded trees as far as not missing certain things, compared to other trees.

Panzerfaust 100 is the best AT weapon, but BR2 German AT weapons are ass compared to actual rocket launchers like M1 bazooka, ironically Soviets got the best of both world.
If he is talking about low BR matches than he is right.

They are “abandoned”, but every second event has something new for Germany 
Germany have a good selection for any BR. Hardly abandoned, I think DF has just been focusing on plugging gaps this year, specifically high BR.
As far as High BR goes:
Germany Doesnt really have any gaps that need urgent filling
The only thing Germany is missing (High BR) to be on Par is a 100 round MG, But that wont change much. Would be just a luxury
Soviets have been pretty much made better clones of Germany (infantry weapons at High BR).
Really arent lacking any major tools either.
America is close but still has a few holes to plug
- High BR AT
- High BR Super Pershing
- High BR select fire (usually I wouldnt want this…but everyone else is getting them)
- High BR Mortar (proper heavy mortar, M2 isnt it)
Japan is one hell of a mess ever since being pushed to BR 5. spread way too thin, and the type Hei Automatic rifle to compensate at high BR is stupid in my opinion (and thats because I think its stupid for riflemen to get such a weapon for any faction. Includes M2 carbines, FG 42s and AVT-40s)
I really want more Italian equipment added.
solothurn AT rifle would be a good AT rifle option, as Germany AT rifles are “meh” ar best
And more Commonwealth For USA
- BR 3 AT grenade launcher rifle
- Better AT rifle at BR 1
