The black, white and red shield was not adopted by the army after 1940.
It was replaced and faded out.

No combat units had the Weimar rep. Decal over their helmet.

There may have been rare instances, but that wasn’t widely used.

Only the black / gray decals with eagles or branch army decals were used.

Even though, with that considered, enlisted is no HA founded anyway

Maybe it was in use on the fields since it’s very hard to get to all units and ask them to erase or change the decal on their Stahlhelm.
