German APCBC almost entirely useless

The German APCBC tank shells, despite having an explosive icon, are almost completely useless against the front side of any opposing tank. The explosive inside the shell should be more powerful than a firecracker, yet that’s all we get out of them when they make it through the armor.

It should not take 10+ APCBC hits to a T-34 turret ring to finally make a powerful enough explosion to make it to the back and ignite the ammo rack, or take out multiple crewmembers. Seems the T-34 has no problem destroying a Panther with one shot to the front, so why are the German tanks so poorly implemented?

all tanks are poorly implemented, they have the old WT system instead of the newer one

Depends on filler because the tiger 1 APHE’s filler is 10/10 because it’s close to 80 grams of tnt mass, same with the Soviet cannons while the panther’s APHE is 29 gram so shouldn’t be able to 1 shot a tank without careful aiming

Even the Panther can struggle one shotting Stuarts in Normandy unlike the Tiger

As a T-34-85 driver myself, its inconsistent when shooting the turret face of the Panther with 85mm where I get unlucky at times to not harm the tank at all for whatever reason and the other is where I actually one shot mostly on the right turret face where the loader is. Real annoying to deal with Panthers especially when there’s stuff like packet losses and server acting crazy but 122mm HE on the Panther’s turret face and they just go explode.

yeah ofcourse the 122mm shell is exempt from the laws of physics

no ricochets from that one comrade.
