The Germans and Finns captured guns from the Soviets.
PPD-34\38s and PPD-40s were captured by the Finns weregiven to home guard and coastal troops.
PPD-34\38s that were captured by the Wehrmacht were renamed MP.715(r)
PPD-40s that were captured by the Wehrmacht were renamed MP.716(r)
PPSh-41s captured by the Finns were converted to 9x19mm suomi KP-\31 and KP-\44 magazines.
PPSh-41s captured by the Wehrmacht were renamed MP.717(r) or converted to 9x19mm MP-38\40\41 magazines.
The Finns also copied the PPS-43 but made it use suomi magazines.
As well as the mosin but thats enough for now.
Really dont want to see both sides spamming PPSHs…one captured one for a golden order would be alright I suppose but we dont need clone weapons on each side
Omg the Russians captured StG 44s! Everyone gets one now! Its a dumb idea because it makes factions essentially irrelevant because everyone will have PPSHs and StG44s
I would be opposed to this being implemented, If both sides have the same or similar thing, then its not interesting. Cause in ww2 all the countries captured enemy weaponry.
Im aware of few prototypes, but as your links pretty much points out they werent converted to 9mm other than few prototypes.
Thought you meant that it was common practise to convert ppsh to 9mm in fdf, if that wasnt your point then I misunderstood your point.
