German Accent with English Words Option

Hi there! I really appreciate the recent update allowing us to use the country’s native languages in Enlisted. I mainly play as Germany and love the immersion, but I don’t know a lot of German. I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option for players who want to hear the German accent and tone, but with English words spoken.

It would be a perfect blend of immersion and clarity—keeping the authentic German feel with the ease of English. I think it’d be a great addition for players like me who enjoy the atmosphere but may not speak the language.

if you are a pc player you can make a sound mod

many games make german accent english word dubs, like red orchestra 2

Im a console player so mods for me aren’t possible thus I rather standard games rather than custom matches.

Once you know what they are saying and hear it in English you might get tired of hearing the same thing over and over again either way. I say they add more dialogues to all factions!

they say the exact same sentences the US faction says, its just “he wasnt so hard to kill!” “die already!” “you can serve your country in hell!”

you arent missing out on anything

there is already so much dialogue that nobody says in the game, like calling out enemy snipers or enemy machine gun positions

Yes im not missing out on anything i just rather the German Accent but English Speaking so the gamers can understand, I just dont like playing Germany or USSR and its American accent.

voice actors arent cheap and if darkflow does that they’d probably have to do it for all the other languages (chinese, japanese, french, italian, russian) so i wouldnt hold your breath unfortunately

Yeah I get what you mean but its do-able they could use A.I to voice the words. Just a suggestion for now.
