Why bother creating a chat system, if you’re just going to let most people switch it off, except those who can’t hold their anger and want to blame their team/ insult the enemy team for being better?

so that the option is there for people that do want it. its not like its gonna change much since we already don’t have it. you can switch it off yourself if you don’t like it, why restrict people just because you’re too wet to handle a bit of banter? give people the option if they want it, they can turn it off if they dont, the people who wanted it are happy and the people who don’t are also happy. boom, job done
also most people won’t turn it off, because most people aren’t giant pussies

Well he has a point that chat probably would mostly be bunch of 13yr olds doing your mom and marginally “GG” posts.
But at the same time I just cant figure how people can handle a game with mild gore and at sametime being upset about 13yr olds doing moms.

I came through the MW/ MW2 lobbies “back in the day” and I have no freaking clue what you are talking about. I never came across stuff like this.
Maybe you like insulting people by saying you slept with their mothers or wishing cancer on people, but I don’t. Not every gets a kick out of insulting each other or which debilitating illnesses on people.
well we’ll agree to disagree. Luckily, were global chat to be added, enlisted has a feature where you can turn the chat off, so use it! It’s not even going to affect you if global gets added so why are you so against it? Do you want everyone to be as miserable as you are?
They will be if a general chat is added.
Because I’d rather see other things implemented, like more in-depth customisation, more campaign levels, maps and such over a cess pool loosely disguised as a"global chat".
