They Type 97 sniper use Arisaka 2.5x scope while Type 99 sniper rifle use Arisaka 4x scope but it seems they just copypasted 2.5x zoom to 4x zoom and called it day.

Shouldn’t you show the zoomed out for the in-game pic or ADS in for the actual scope pic? From your pics it makes perfect sense what they did since the eye piece part looks the same for both aside from the zoom levels of course.
No reason to do any of that. The rings on the scope very much show it’s two different scopes.

ok? but is it just like in real life? like type 100 apparently have a “early” and “late” version does that count as copy paste? if not then just cause it better mean it not copy paste?

I think this was already reported some months ago including giving the correct markings to the Japanese sniper sights, so maybe in the future they will correct this
As I already stated on the CBR website: I’ve passed it to the developers.
Passing it down won’t matter when it’s ignored and have people in management who thinks a 4x and 2.5x scope is correct to have same zoom in. And doesn’t give an explanation why.
