A gamemode featuring a longer map conquest that would also mean longer gameplay. Basically… “Realistic Battles”.
About the gamemode:
There are no locked attackers or defenders. Both sides have (let’s say) 300 reinforces at start. There would be a total of 5 territories. 2 for the Allies, 2 for the Axis and 1 is the battlefield.
If the Allies manage to beat those 300 reinforces, they will advance through the territory they are fighting on, meantime the Axis are called back to retreat. Now one side has 3 territories under control. If the Axis manage to beat the allies with their 300 personel, the Allies would be called back for a retreat, letting the Axis take their territory back. The only way to win this gamemode would be for one side to control all 5 territories, meaning defeating the oppenent’s 300 personel 3 times in a row without losing.
It’d be something like controlling zones, except you could only battle for 1 zone at a time and if you take over that zone, the enemy can still take it back by depleting your reinforces. So… a conquest gamemode that goes back and forth. Very similiar to what they did in Verdun (game).
P.S.: Those are territories, lands and not points teams have to conquer. It’s like… the normal Dominative gamemode, except you have to conquer parts of the maps, and you can lose them back. Only one territory can be conquered at a time, spawning the whole forces from the behind lines. More of a trench-warfare like conquest.
