Game mode without bots

Hi

I would like to know if it is possible to create a game mode where only human players can play, without bots. I mean the game is a bit boring with the bots. They are easy to kill.

It already exists. Check the game mode selection menu.

It unlocks at a certain campaign level, so they might not see it yet if they’re new.

At what level does it unlock? Until now I have Squads and Lone fighters.

Oh it’s going to be one of those threads.
Bot teammates are not bot squadmates.

Bot squadmates are by design, so lone fighters exists as an alternative.

Bot teammates are a stopgap until the community is stable enough for full teams.

But lone fighters also have bots. The goal of the thread was to ask for a game mode where only human players fight, without bots.

Yeah, the game you’ve payed for isn’t there. Enjoy the “stopgaps” and insults from people who’d rather see the game buried than its developers challenged.

Yeah it makes sense for now to have the bots for team padding, there really aren’t a lot of players. Once the game goes into open beta though we’ll hopefully be able to lose the bot teammates in lone fighters.

Does it? It defeats the entire purpose of that game mode. And then people are all smug about “no bots” game mode being unpopular. Of course it’s devoid of players, it’s a “no bots” game mode, with bots. Lots of bots. Mostly bots actually.

“Oh, but it’s not a ‘no bots’ game mode, it’s a ‘no squads’ game mode!”. Oh really? Is that what people were asking for? That game mode was supposedly a response to people complaining about bots. And yet here we are.

Fine, the idea of that game mode a failure, it doesn’t work. The entire game is still a failure at this point. I can accept that. Adding bots into a “no bots” mode doesn’t solve the problem, though. It’s just another smokescreen to fool new players.

Just gonna put it out there chief, but enlisted shouldn’t have a non-squad game mode to begin with. If I wanted to play a realistic WW2 shooter with only one character under my control at any time, I would play hell let lose, Heroes of Stalingrad, Rising Storm, Day of Infamy, Day of Defeat, Post Scriptum…
