Even before this terrible logistics update I just haven’t been playing much, two games and I’m off. I have the time but I don’t want to spend my entire days grinding Enlisted, I don’t understand how the devs think that the xp progression is fine because it isn’t, premium progression feels like what the standard should be for free to play players and is just sad. I would be more inclined on spending more money on the game if I know that I’ll actually stick with it.
And the gameplay is getting very repetitive and I know some of you are feeling the same.
Not even out of beta and the game is dying already, sick of getting bot lobbies and players leaving mid-match.
Ah yes, we all get that whales would rather have this game be p2w so they can stomp low level trash even more, then just say git gud on forum and problem solved.
I know why You prefer bots, it’s way easier to grind there, justo ne big killing fest untill you are out of ammo. Sure is fun for first 15 min for normal people, then it’s get boring.
Are You really so bad at this game that You need so many advantages over f2p low level guys You really should just play offline games at this point
The game is pay to win though. Throw enough cash at it, and you can max level every campaign, every squad, full of troops with the best weapons, fully upgrade all the vehicles, etc. There isn’t a progression system outside of leveling troops you can’t pay to skip.
It’s a time thing moron, You really want me to spell it out?
New campaign comes out, it takes a month of platying against premium squads to compete, You sure many are gonna stick around?
Also thanks for always downplaying others, just call em noobs, that will show them
I already maxed one campaign but it’s getting boring.
Maybe You should stop crying about people wanting this game to get fair, You look like projecting a lot
lol, i have no idea what mr rainbow clown is stating this time:
( and it feels great, you should try it )
but i suppose he sure is not disappointing.
in just a few days that he is missing, he is already on the nerves of someone.
honestly, don’t bother with it. i hardly think you’ll ever get something usefull from it.
he is that type of special “”“kind”""" of human being.
( and i’m not even being offensive here )
speaking of more usefull thing, directed to the op,
the lord has spoken.
i digress on the logistic update,
but everytime i think about it ( of whole microtransactions ), what’s the point of keep paying if you are even’t sure you’ll stick around because ( A requires to spend further money, B what’s the point? forget this game in less than 4 months? )
sure, progression is nice, and make alot of people stick. but when those people have finished the grind, what’s there?
stomp on other people, or getting stomped?
eh, dunno… it’s somewhat working, but i can’t see this system working for entire ages.
You pay to get them faster, you have advantage for first month of campaign, then most players catch up like it happend in Normandy at start.
If You don’t think it was easier to grind when You were only one bombing whole ass beach over and over again for 20 min, than to sit on those beaches i don’t know what to tell You.
New campaigns comes out and it’s all over again, so it’s pay to stomp noobs for a month, then they can fight back so You again flee to diffrent campaign. If Your friend want to play with You, he can pay up to catch up, or grind for 100hours,(i’m cool with it) then You maybe would like to try diffrent campaign with him, and will act supprised he doesn’t feel like it anymore.
Grind is balanced for one campaign, there is no point for players to move to diffrent ones where they get stomped all over again. Why not make it 4 separate games at this point?
And how many levels you have to buy in new campaing to it became p2w? Obviously 15 levels isnt enough like tunisia and berlin cbt showed us. In both campaings people who didnt buy access got easily in yop of score boards and could fully compete against anyone
Lol what’s so hard to get.
It’s p2w with time limit, being time that f2p need to catch up.
You don’t even need to buy levels, just with premium you get so far ahead You are sprating whole bolt rifle squads with mg34/ppsh.
They want to eat cake and have it too. So even if You pay up, they still want You to do it for every campaign.
Once campaign gets old You can only pay to catch up.
New campaign gets out, if You pay You win 90% matches for a month or two
Everybody who play less, start later, dont use premium (or what ever reason there migth be) then most active players has disadvantage. And propably never catch up, but that dont stop them being competive and winning & spanking paying players.
Also
Does it really matter how that advantage was gained? Like player A got ‘legit advantage’ cause he is playing 18h per day but player B is wallet warrior and buys his ranks.
How same thing, lets say best tank can be p2w cause player B bought it, and dont be p2w cause f2p player A no lifed it?
Yeah i see those 2-3 spanking players at the top of every match, followed by a stream of 400 score bots or akfs?
I don’t care how You get the advantage, but we have so much content here spread over 4 diffrent campaigns with 2 factions each.
After playing 200h on one faction, you expect anyone will want to do it 4 times over, just to expeience half of the game?
What’s the point of having all this content if You barely see fraction of it after hunderds of hours
The bonus squad slots make it somewhat more p2w as
-f2p have to play untrained and unfitting squads in battle, eg flamers in long range maps or snipers in cqc (grind for new squads is 2x longer as well, especially ridiculous with t3 squads)
-f2p don’t have enough vehicle slots to have both a tank and a plane, engi AA capabilities suck (don’t think I’ve ever seen a plane shot down by the supposed AA)
Also, fighter planes are pretty much only viable for prem players while the devs are actively removing bombs from them to make it even more so.
As for xp problem, one thing they could try would be to multiply f2p xp to 1.33 which leaves prem with a 1.5x bonus, but that would piss off prem players so they don’t really have a good solution to fix the broken xp and bronze economy any more.
With the new leveling system, even as a f2p player, when you reach certain point you are gonna steamroll enemies and the stacking bonuses make having full t1 lvl5 squads easy grinding your best campaign, prem players had stacked hundreds even before the double drop upgrade (I had over 200 with no prem).
There aren’t enough useful perks to justify the grind for higher tier soldiers either so it pretty much kills this avenue of late game progression. They could try and make bronze gains independent of xp multipliers if they want to keep this system but I doubt it will work much better.
TBH the bugged iteration at start of the open beta where first soldier you picked returned from academy was what I liked the most up to now.
