This game was fun. Now it’s not. You die 4,500 times from artillery every single match. It is NON STOP ARTILLERY. Everyone has it and everyone is waiting for the last to end to call theirs in. It’s not a fighting game, it’s an artillery game. You are shell shocked for 86% of a match. You run, run, run, get killed by some invisible bomb that came from the pits of hell.
Every single AI soldier in the game isn’t qualified to be the stunt double for Corky from Life Goes On. They go where they aren’t supposed to, They stick their dumb heads around corners and get shot, giving away your position. They stand up when their being fired at. They never shoot back. They are awful.
The American guns, at low level, are so bad. They have zero power. You can shoot someone 812 times, then the Nazi turns around, laughs at you and fires one shot into your pinky toe and your instantly sent to the abyss.
Don’t even get me started on the insanely asinine “Get back in the battle, soldier”. That couldn’t be any more anti-war like. You get behind enemy lines, you’re doing some damage and you bleed out??? From what? Herpes from the French girls??? It’s even worse when you are in a great spot killing, the point gets taken and the map changes and now you have no time to get back to the front lines. BUT while you’re attempting to haul a wheel barrel full of backside, you get shot, 1 billion percent of the time, in the back as you’re running to some VD clinic to cure what ails you.
I used to love this game. Not sure what happened, but it’s not fun anymore. It’s more frustrating than trying to talk logically with a liberal.
