Game editor vs spreedsheets

Hello my dear ppl :parrot: im back after a long time and with probably an interesting topic on my hands so lets beggin with this : )

While disscusing with the russians again, One of them pointed out a decent argument abt why they said that urrs is bad and GE is OP and for not making this introduction to long lets take a look abt what he said

-this datasheet have errors, too many errors
and incomplete information

–So why the information havent been corrected?

-because the information in the editor and files is different from the datasheet. If you want to get a more accurate picture of how weapons work, you need to go into the editor.

(Tbh is this quite a good point testing the weapons directly gives you a clear view of how the weapons works but i even with that i pointed out that there are Obvious weapons that seems to be handycaped while other are overpowered and also that can be 100% reforced by checking the stats on the spreedsheets but he also said that stats on the editor are different from spreedsheets)

-I haven’t looked at it for a long time, neither the editor nor the datasheet. but the last time I looked, it said that AVT has a lower variance than FG42-2. Although in the editor they had the same initial spread, the same maximum spread, and the same information speed, but the AVT had a slightly slower parameter for increasing the spread when moving, as now, I’m not sure. The story is about the same with the T20, but it had a low information parameter, which is noticeable, it is very difficult to hit after moving from it, the first ~ 5 bullets after running go into the milk, while the FG42-2 has no such problems. ut I repeat that you need to check how it is right now, I watched a few updates ago.But after that, I stopped trusting the datasheet.

(cuz he mentioned that information was old i asked him to give me an updated version of the parameters so he replied:)

The FG42-2 and AVT-40 have these parameters in the editor right now. They are here without pumping and it is clear from them that the maximum spread, etc. they are the same, only one parameter is different, which is responsible for the speed of increasing the spread in motion.

-While the datasheet says that ALT has a smaller spread than FG42-2, that’s a lie.

-But the T20 seems to have been fixed since the last time I watched it. it has the same parameters as AVT

-there are a lot of errors in the datasheet, as well as missing many important parameters. Everything is very strange with recoil in general, for example, the AVT, despite having a “lower” recoil, has a greatly increased parameter responsible for accidentally changing the pattern, which makes it a garbage weapon.

(Since that moment it became a very interesting argument from my pov but he also mentioned that the T20 stats were fixed which makes me think that the editor stats are like “experimental” or just appeared with an error or smt like that i agree with the fact that if you want a clear view of how a weapon/vehicle and its performance test it but i doubt abt the credibility of the game editor as a datamine)

btw there is the stats on spreedsheets ( and for what i see these are different paramerters from spreedsheets or probably it just have different name?? ._. well idk i need a confirmation in kind confused with this part)

(sorry if the images are to small lol)

So, i want to ask some questions directly to euty the one who created the spreedsheets

1- Does the editor can be considered as a datamine? like the spreedsheets?,

2- as i mentioned before abt the different parameters are that ones other stats apart from the spreedsheets? or is just the same thing with different and more confusing name?

3- and if both datamines are telling the true… which of the 2 is more accurate???

Welp just to end this long topic im asking the opinion of the forum just to see other Pov`s nothing personal, do you think that both datamines are true?, if not, which of it is telling us accurate infomation? and why? oh before i forgot the one who told me all this stuff above was “TKA4ENHO”

( I just hope that this is not another trolling from the russians XD if yes i quit using this place for at least a whole year)

See ya nerds :parrot: :parrot: :parrot: :camel: :camel: :camel:

no.

common misconception, but editor guns are incorrect and do have different stats compared to the base game.

to my understanding, the editor weapons have standard stats.

in the game are buffed with additional values given from each soldier within squads.
and above all, most perks affect the real performance.

but the spreadsheet made by @Euthymia07 is the most extensive and correct data that there ever will be.

she is after all, one of the most prominent data miner that was given the helper role for a reason ( many, actually ).

alternatively, you can check guns on your own in the ww2_guns.blkx but again, as much you get the raw data, it’s quantified in a different manner.

but maybe she can explain it better than i do/can. and add additional info.

I see… Since first moment it was a convincing argument but as always i have to doubt abt the reality of the things (in this case the editor stuff) so that means that spreedsheets are 100% true… So well…

I’m gonna keep on mind all You 've said + the possible reply of @Euthymia07

Anyways…

Long life to the Spreedsheets and the parrots !!!:parrot::parrot:

GunDevMoveDevInc
->first line of 0 is dispersion penalty when aiming while moving (prominently found in LMG)
->2nd line of 15 / 23 is hipfire dispersion when the gun is fired on the move without aiming higher value means higher dispersion in this case the FG 42 has by far worse hipfire dispersion while moving compared to AVT

Which follows the sheet correctly at 15 hipfire move for AVT and 23 hipfire move for FG 42 II

Is easily noticeable tbh (Even without using the tools u are using rn) the only thing I’ve complained abt the fg42 since it’s rework is it’s dispersion and this video is a clear example of it so welp i got answers and almost every single information i needed…
