As you might be aware, the game currently suffers some imbalances in the number of players in each campaign as well as the player quantity and quality in each campaign factions. There are campaigns that are heavily played and others which takes away to long to queue into a game.
There is some campaigns, for example Normandy, Battle for Berlin and Battle for Tunisia, which heavily favors one faction, attracting a great quantity of players (and quality) for the winning faction, causing the opposing faction to lack players and usually be filled with bots (People usually go with the faction that has a higher probability to win. People don’t like the feeling of loosing, especially if they can prevent that by choosing the faction with greater odds of winning).
With this, i would like to suggest the addition of dynamically calculated daily XP boosters and weapon/soldiers’ orders rewards based on the win/lose rate and the number of players playing in each faction (and other relevant parameters) that are conferred to players who play factions that are less favored. The objective would be to provide an incentive to attract a better quantity as well as quality of players resulting in more balanced matches.
I’d remove entirely the winning faction xp bonus (the x1.5) and instead boost xp gain for ALL players who CONTRIBUTE for objectives, or build stuff etc.
Ppl wouldn’t desert anymore, because even in a losing match, good players would get as much xp.
I actually like it, takes a bit of the sweat off from a difficult match, it would of course need some improvements on mechanics like rewarding defense kills to kills made not only inside but from the inside objectives, have a way of keeping track of when someone is building rally points and ammo crates and when someone is just building bullshit everywhere to farm score (saw some guy do it and admit is to farm score just a few days ago) and some other changes that I may not remember now.
But it would really turn playing the game more enjoyable imo
It would make the game enjoyable: you get rewarded for your actions, and YOURS alone. No longer would you depend on a good team (or bad enemy) to gain win x1.5 xp, or no longer would we vets feel the need to absolutely carry our team.
We could focus on fun. EVEN in a losing match. Ppl would no longer desert: there would be no need, for team victory (or defeat) would no longer influence your xp gain.
