Gaijin should be thanked for handling Lone Fighters mode, but it won’t work for one reason:

Enlisted was never meant to be a LF mode game as Heroes and Generals. It was always meant to be a squad based realistic ww2 simulator experience which is why the game attracted so many gamers who already wanted a game that even resembles 10% of a real war.

LF mode was out of Devs’ kindness purely. It was never even meant to exist in Enlisted. Enlisted devs promised us gamers to provide a squad leader type of experience with our own ww2 army squads to control and THEY HAVE DELIVERED IT PERFECTLY. It just needs some tuning which they will obviously do as they are sincere in their promise. To improve LF mode would be a waste of time and resource whereas it’s not even the main gameplay mode featured in the game announcements and the trailers. There are other games which purely gives your LF experience like COD, Heroes and Generals etc. Try them out and please don’t ruin the Enlisted squad based experience loving community’s hopes. Have a good day.

Apparently you only read the title of the topic, and nothing more, so I won’t waste my time. If you want you can read what I wrote.

Ps. there is probably not a single Online WW2 type game on the market that I would not have played because it is my main genre. So you can keep your superficial opinion to yourself.

Enlisted was not built with an idea to have this mode, thus everything you see is designed for squads. The only type of map that works semi-decently is small conquest/assault. This was requested by small minority and it turned out in the way it was predicted… it was a boring and generic failure. People left, and bots had to take their place (so there wasn´t really much choice) to avoid extremely long queue times.

It was said many times before and not just this one, but also in many other topics… but just for a good measure, there we go.
LF shouldn´t exist in the first place. Directing more resources into failed branch instead of focusing on the main mode game was primarily built on is wasting time for studio this small.
Once squads are properly polished devs might (and probably will) perhaps give LF more attention, but for now the announced news are nothing but damage control made out of necessity to slap something on the holes of this sinking boat.

So, let me get this straight,

You think that everyone that comes here disagreeing with you, or argues about it, are trolls?

“ ruined thread “ ?

Mhhh. What a mature individual we got here, let me tell you.

You see, I don’t need a lawyer.
Nor I asked him to do so.
Yet, he replied.

And you know why?
I’ll tell you.

Common,
Sense.

Something that you are not showing with lots of your comments in this post if I have to honest.

And not well so thought out:

And even worse:

I mean, this one amuse me.
But on the other hand, is it illegal?

Like, I stated multiple times that I have lots of “ dead times “ where it’s actually easier for me to use the forum.

( smartworking, trams, cooking, waitings, yada yada yada, ecc. )
So, I’m free to giving feedbacks and perhaps help develop to develop the game as I somewhat “ love “ this game.

perhaps you could lay down your ego, and start using that common sense of before. It might actually help you. Otherwise calling the others “ trolls “ just because they don’t agree with your idea it’s not healthful towards anyone.

Like hell. I made lots of post as well. And some of them, didnt got accepted by the community ( which it’s the one that makes the game, not me, and definitely not you ).

Is there any reason to me mad?
No?
Should I be mad because of that ?
Neither?

So I wisely suggest you to do the same. Or, not to sound mean, but you do really sound and act like an:

Best regards.

Yet, this mode has just received an update, no matter how many people try to talk about statements that are already history. No one talks here about squad mode being destroyed. I’ve talked about it before, so I’m really teasing to rewrite everything again. I even stressed why the LF is still not perfect and I’m not making any revolution here Jesus Crist. Anyway, yes, I think the LF has far more advantages over the AI squad mode.

The best part about squads is that when you die to someone getting a fluke shot or doing some cheesy shit like camping in a corner you have more people you can use to come in and kill them, its far, far less frustrating than any other fast time to kill first person shooter ive ever played because of that fact. The fight is still 90% about fighting players, because the players control their bots, and to win you need to be able to keep your bots alive and keep enemy players off them so you have more lives to spawn into.

Bots is not about having bots do the fighting for you, that would be boring and shit for everyone if bots were killing machines. Honestly, apart from some issues controlling bots, and bots shooting through certain sight blocking obstacles with impunity, I am very happy with how the squad aspect plays out, and this is as a veteran of Rising Storm 2, all the BF games etc… It’s a far superior mode to playing with just people, for a variety of reasons, and it wouldn’t be a fun game for me without squads. They fill out the game, give some level of immersion to balance out the players bunnyhopping around and allow for some awesome moments where you gun down 20 people with an mg42 in the space of a few seconds.

The problem with the lone fighter mode is that it’s just lone fighters, there’s no communication or organized tactics. It needs player squads and more numbers. If they add some all bot squads too just to fill up the numbers faster and get that large scale feeling I wouldn’t mind.

well…

Whether is that going to work or not is something only time will tell, however I do not believe LF can achieve full recovery from ghost town.

No, because it’s counter to the entire point of this game being developed in the first place. There are PLENTY of other ww2 shooters that does what LF wants to be 20x better. Go play those. I play Enlisted for the squads aspect, period.

Thanks for the opinion. The first relative opinion on this topic.

I see Lone Fighters mode, in this game as a certain opportunity to have more variation and choice for players who would discover Enlisted as a multifunctional war mode game.

I don’t want to repeat many of the arguments I’ve already made, so I’ll try to put my thoughts closer. I see Lone Fighters as an opportunity to have a full hardcore mode that incorporates a variety of challenges for players, as a result, allowing you to experience a slightly different harder experience.

I see this mode as an alternative to squad mode. I am NOT proposing to destroy or otherwise change the squad mode. When I was speaking of priorities, I had in mind further improvement of the lone fighters, IF the mode after some updates we got now (and maybe in the future), will get more interest from community, and maybe rethink squad development as well, as LF is not good now far from it. It still very bad and uninteresting. But the first steps are done in a good direction.

Enlisted has always been and will be a squad based game. There are no questions about that. But all you have to do is thank the developers for the opportunity to grow the game from all possible angles.

I’m for diversity.

I feel like squads is a test for the game: how many soldiers per map and what players hardware & internet speed can handle.
I would rather play 50 vs 50 real players or less. then 20 real players with 150 bots.
Think alot of players now just use squads so they grind up faster campaigns, squads and soldiers !
Then when u got everything maxed can play lone fighters !

Squads sure also have its version of blasting fun just becouse more soldiers in battle… Lone fighters gets few more fps, so makes game more smooth…

No need to thank me.
