Not a complaint, just a thought. I’ve read that there’s no actual evidence of those extended magazines being used, in no small part because it took what was otherwise an extremely reliable mechanism and turned it in to a frustrating jam-fest. Anyone have any evidence one way or the other?
not much to work with, but apparently someone came up with that idea.
but as it goes for the game,
well, it’s a game.
it doesn’t hurt having some rare weapons as long makes somewhat sense and aren’t widely available such as these rifles ( even though they come up at least once per year, which i’m not complaining )
jamming reloads used to be a thing during the alpha, but it’s no longer in the game as james told that it’s old code incompatible of working today.
so… i doubt you’ll have to worry about any jamming. unironically, it’s one of the most accurate with less disperion gun.
if you’re worried about historical accuracy, you’re looking at the wrong game.
even though… it wasn’t uncommon to give ww1 weapons to volkssturm for example.
germans used every available ww1 rifle in the last stages of war out of desperation.
I think its possible that some volkstrum units used some of those grabenmagazines.
Still more probable than as 44
