with the III/KG 3 squad which is attacker pilot III from the tech tree.

My friend and I don’t have that squad. 
But you can still get it, unlike legacy squads.
I think it is stupid that you need attacker 3 squad just so you can use br 1 plane

Yes, sadly true.
The vehicle to squad linking system is really stupid.
You can have Tiger 2 H and Tiger 2 P in the same lineup but god forbid you want to use IS-2 and IS-2 1944 together.

Agree. And I especially hate it in relation to GO vehicles. For example I have squad which can use only TT Pz IV J and some other old GO normandy Pz IV J (which I do not have).
But all new Pz IV J skins can be used only by TT squad. I have basically completely useless squad. Because why would I want to use blank TT tank over tank with unique camo?
And this is not even about balance. It’s literally all about the same tank.

Yea even tho there is like 3 panzer4 j squad only the TT can use breaking dead version which kinda suck for me ngl (idk if it also apply to puma since I haven’t check which squad can use the twitch version)

Agree.
Months ago began to lvl up some plane, found a squad that could use that exact plane and perhaps 1 another.
Only to figure out little bit later that there was another squad that could have used the same plane and plenty of others aka by far easier to level up as I could level shitload of planes with 1 squad.
And the squad with alot of plane options required ~1-3k ? Squad exp to level up.
The other was probably legacy squad requiring ~10k ? squad exp to level up.
