Personally I think the game will eventually go into cold war territory like war thunder. But how they do it idk.

i couldnt care much if they did . as long as we can keep playing on ww2 campains only (the ones that only want to play ww2) and other players have coldwar campains if they feel they want to play that.
if its more players to attract to the game sure.
the downside, the more campaigns the game have , the less players per campaign at once to fight against.
but, imo this game will have a solid population. i hope i m not wrong
I do not think this would be a good idea as it would require a huge ammount of development time to make all the cold war era weapons etc, as well as entirely new map props due to how diffrent cold war buildings are.
Currently they can re-use a lot of assets across the diffrent campaigns.

Ye, but I am not saying this would come anytime soon. But after some years, like what happened with War Thunder. Enlisted will eventually have to move on from WW2 unless they want to stop adding larger content. Either go forward or go backwards to prewar and ww1.

We’re very, very far away from this moment. Nobody has ever fully exploited WW2 theme. In Enlisted you have only four campaigns (Moscow, Berlin, Tunisia, Normandy). Enlisted can stay in WW2 for the next ten years and they won’t run out of content. They can easilyadd three more campaign of the eastern front like Stalingrad, Kursk, Sevastopol or Karelia (Finland). From the west: Market Garden, Battle of Bulge, Operation Dragoon, Italy. And there’s also Pacific.

i really want to see in this game some modern operations/wars, for example War at Ukraine

They could do it because of how the different campaigns are separated. We would avoid war thunder’s problem of cold war vehicles fighting ww2 vehicles.
That being said we would only see that YEARS down the line, and in my opinion the devs should focus on making more ww2 campaigns since we have so many to choose from (Crete, China and Burma, the pacific theatre, Italy, Bagration, and probably much more).

other than cold war Gaijin could go backwards during the interwar period like the Spanish Civil war or go backwards to WW1.

when u think about it - korea is just WWII on steroids- same guns same tactics only planes changed and medium tanks are late war.

as long they don’t combine the two eras like they did in war thunder. i’m ok with it.
immagine watching an R3 T20 rushing the battlefields… i already have nightmares and bad flashbacks.
but otherwise, i prefer having first the whole ww2 covered, and than some cold war era stuff.
because in the ww2 it’s where i will most likely spend all ma moneiii.

I would love to go out of ww2, even with same equipment.
Korea, operation unthinkable, idk if they are other.
I would also love more modern action with fulda for example but think we need a bigger scale battle and that even with WW2 operation.
