while the game expands and grows, they they will need to add new types of warfares eventually. with mods we saw that even futuristic warfare is possible and entertaining or ww1 and modern warfare. after adding enough ww2 content and game reaches some limit, they need to add new wars from different times like its bigger brother and extend its playerbase and retention

they did add modern conflict event, that indicates that in the future we might see more than just ww2 content

The game is called enlisted so…
I’d love to see a korean war campaign in the game. Such an underrepresented conflict in games, with tons of cool stuff. Allies vs Communists, late WW2 weapons, tanks like the M4A3 (76) and M26 vs T-34-85 and IS-2’s, super props and early jets. Enlisted pretty much has all the assets needed already in game. If Enlisted did the Korean War, there’d straight up be no competition coz no one else is doing it.
Vietnam war would be cool too. M16’s and AK’s, M48’s vs T-54’s, Tunnels, talking trees, cold war jets. All the tanks/vehicle assets could be imported from War Thunder.
Doubt we’d see either tho, modern conflict would probably be a bigger money maker.

Modern warfare and the Vietnam War abound, so I would like to see a setting that is not usually used for game subjects, such as the Korean War, the Indochina War of Independence, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, or the Football War.

6 day war, or any of the Arab Israeli conflict’s from the 40’s/50’s/60’/70’s would be fun.
But they have a lot of WW 2 content to explore as yet:
Crete
Syria
Other NA battles
Other NW Europe battles
The Pacific
Burma
Korea…
If Vietnam is a thing then AKM squads and take the Presidential Palace in Saigon.

No. I’m sure they can make new games one day that explore those other war settings, but lets leave Enlisted as the WW2 sandbox shooter it is
Atleast we can hope the game doesn’t make the same mistakes as War Thunder by having modern vehicles yet still uses mostly WWII maps.

It would be neat if they did go early Cold War route of Korea and Vietnam. It would have some decent balance between WW2 tech and Modern tech. Anything past early cold war would be nothing but pure automatic spam. Though I would love if they had the Modern Conflict event occur every so often.
