Further Improvements to the Nationality Change System 🪖

The nationality change system which has been announced in the recent SITREP post is much welcomed. However, I would like to suggest two additional changes to this system.

  1. Let us use the call sign orders instead of the appearance change orders for this purpose. Not only is this more appropriate (since we are changing a soldier’s identity) but most of us have a surplus of these orders with no immediate use for it.
  2. Bring back the old legacy squads for Britain and Italy from the Battle of Tunisia pre-merge. They would have a price in-between 5,000-10,000 silver. This would allow people to actually use British and Italian soldiers in their nation-specific squads for a wide variety of roles. The Chinese client seems to have such a mechanic to purchase old legacy squads as far as I am aware.
    I would request our helpful CM @MajorMcDonalds to pass on these suggestions to the developers for their kind consideration. Thank you.

That’s good and all but we also need some squads from stalingrad because they can have medics in their lineup.

And the callsign orders would finally have a use.

Amen, literally the easiest thing they could do to allow full British/Italian line-ups.

Put legacy squads in loot boxes, its a win-win

Boxes would be a terrible solution and is anything but a win win.

Odds are terrible, are limited time and you are left to RNG over the 195+ legacy squads there is (i used 3 of each class in 5 campaigns as a reference here)

Sure that’s gambling but there are iconic squads people would want instead of gambling over the hundreds of squads there are…
exception being if it’s ONLY squads but even then just seems bad to me.

For example i want ALL the pasta bois and iconic guys like 101st airborne… not no random sniper or AT gunner squad that ill never use
