Fun fact about some Volksturm squads

Some Volksturm squads such as the first trooper squad, don’t have uniformed uniforms (sorry if your english is bad)
It’s very nice attention to detail that the Volksturm was a milita without proper uniforms, they just wore what they could

That’s nice detail, but I still hope for more civilian clothing choices when cosmetic customisation finally comes. For now Volksturm look still too organised for me.

The premium rifle squad has suits and civilian clothing, but I agree, need more disheveled looking troops

if im not wrong the squad in the images is the first volkstrurm division ever created, it was formed from ww1 veteran, freshly recruited soldiers and such. Differently from other volksturm squad they recieved uniforms, “good equipment” and mostly important they recieved basic training and drilling so they are more a sort of a cheap volksgranadier squad than volksturm. While their “organised” look dont give off much volksturm aura its justified

Yeah, that premium squad is really nice addition. Look kinda wierd when everyone in it has the exact same civilian outfit, but it’s great anyway.

Correct.

While the Volksturm is sadly famous for being civilians thrown into the battle with just a panzerfaust, the first ones had time to be equipped.

The black squared insignias on their collar are specific to the volksturm.

But yeah, i get the point
