Or simply ASK us, the customers, what we would want implemented or not, through polls. It would also be easier for the forum mods, as it’s harder to complain when the majority voted for something. What they do now is just disregarding what we want and don’t.

I vote yes. Full auto weapons should be restricted, it’s not CoD.
I’d also add an option in CLs to turn it off so shiters can’t complain. We will delete it later :kissing_smiling_eyes:

Don’t you DARE give the devs ideas! This is one of the game’s funniest firearm to use, and amazingly good too! Don’t make em nerf it…

Totally agree with this post, nerfs make people angry, but if they reduce the number of smg´s and lmg´s a lot of the problems with balance and that sort of things are going to get solved.

It is still cind of bolt action. Even if it’s lever action.

I know… I’m just afraid they nerf it too. It’s my favourite in Moscow. I mean before the devs realize you can now fire bolt actions almost as fast as semis… don’t want them to reduce rof on BAs as well.

Yep, one of a kind fast rifle. But I true love ww1 dragoons. Very nice sights for long range precise shooting. Instead of soviet dragoon (91/30).

I don’t think so, it may lead to people who play mainly SMG getting pissed instead. I still remember the bomber nerf … and warthunder. Any change will cause rage and salt. People just dislike change and having to adapt. Wait until rally point changes and you will see a bigger outrage.

Currently, for CQC, I am using a big grenade bag and throwing 2 into the room causing stun/kill effect on the enemy before going for the kill. Kind of copium but it work. At least, the dev should give a bayonet so I don’t have to spend 1 second switching to the knife.

Hi, I am a new player. Although I am probably representative of about 1/1000 console players.

Semi autos are great and I dont understand what the big deal is about fire rate. The issue with the game appears to be near ubiquitous automatic weapons, not that the semi autos suddenly became weak.

I dont use aim assist either so spare me the “All X are Y” insults that are so prevalent here, in case you are one to make them. Im glad that in the mid 90s I chose to play PC AND console games so as not to make a petty fool of myself and limit my entertainment later in life.

Then what’s the point of unlocking new assult squads, just for one diffrent perk?

We should look at root of problems here, which was semi-auto nerf, that makes people more inclined to spam assaulters.
Instead of nerfing everything and taking options away, they should focus on improving under used guns. Recent flamethrower changes show that clearly, now they fun to use.

You DO understand my friend: this is exactly what I’m referring to. Let’s say, to simplify, that There’s 3 “tiers” of rifles in the game. Bolt actions, semi autos, and fully automatic ones such as m2, fg42 avs. Bolt actions are starter rifles, everyone have them. In the low/mid lvls, you unlock semis, then when you are high lvl, fully auto weaponry.

The problem with semi is that they USED to be a versatile type of firearm that could shoot targets in game from a distance very well, provided you time your shots (as for some reason, ALL semi dmg are caped at 12, stock) AND in a pinch counter… those automatic users you (and all of us) talk about in cqb. Mind you, smgs/lmgs were already superior for that role, but a low/mid lvl player was far from harmless in cqb while equipped with those.

Now in their ultimate wisdom, the devs removed that particularity. Don’t try to enter rooms if you think someone has an automatic in there and you have a semi, you will die. Why? Remember I told you dmg are caped at 12 for semis? Well guys with full auto weaponry being high lvl… also use the +35% bonus health perk. You MUST shoot them center mass TWICE to DOWN them.

See the problem here? Also, being high lvl you unlock OTHER squads of assaulters snd lmg users… and you can use them all at once in a match. Some guys use ONLY those squads…

Here you go. It’s why nerfing the middle gun is simply a stupid move from the devs, because of all of this.

I mean, I get why people want it class-locked and I agree that it should be. What I’m not OK is locking it to gunners. It’s not an LMG, nor is it a battle rifle. It wasn’t even made for infantry. It was made for paratroopers (hence the name).
So there should be separate paratrooper class for it. There already are two forum topics about making separate paratrooper squads, one by me: Some suggestions to balance the Invasion of Normandy, and one by ToastPuppy: FG-42s should be limited to a Fallschirmjager squad.

because fg42 was a gunner’s weapon when it was first introduced in the berlin O.A.T last year, and even the game calls it an LMG
