Okay, so I know everyone probably is sick & tired of seeing me post. I nearly am myself but hear me out …
I propose introducing a dedicated air combat mode or event in Enlisted, where players engage in large-scale dogfights and bombing missions. This would expand the current aerial gameplay beyond just ground support, bringing full-on air warfare to the game.
Key Features:
Massive Aerial Battles – Dedicated maps for large-scale WWII dogfights, featuring iconic battles like the Battle of Britain, Midway, or Eastern Front air duels.
Diverse Aircraft Roles – Players can choose fighters, interceptors, bombers, or even ground attack planes, each with unique objectives.
Squad-Based Coordination – Teams could work together to protect bombers, escort supply planes, or intercept enemy formations.
Ground Interaction – Anti-aircraft guns, flak defenses, and dynamic mission objectives (like destroying supply convoys or airfields).
Realistic Damage & Fuel Mechanics – More immersive flight physics, optional manual engine management, and limited fuel for added strategy.
Airfield Landings – Planes must land to refuel, rearm, and repair instead of automatic replenishment.
Skill-Based Challenge – Pilots need to safely land and take off, adding realism and depth.
Strategic Decisions – Risk staying in combat with low ammo or retreat to resupply.
Tactical Targets – Airfields become key objectives for defense and enemy attacks.
Immersive Gameplay – Seeing planes land, get serviced, and return to battle enhances realism.
This could be introduced as a limited-time event first, and if well-received, expanded into a full Air Battles mode. It would bring a more immersive and tactical alternative to War Thunder’s air battles while staying true to Enlisted’s combined-arms gameplay.
