Full BRIV doesn’t actually exist due to bad MM
But this is not the reason for BRIII power creep

That was mostly my thoughts aswell

At least The Meunier A6 has a massive downside (stripper clip reload) which I think makes it just acceptable.

The Winchester however is LOL

I don’t think it’s suitable for BR4 because of the 5 clip reload or damage not exceeding 13.5
Of course they are good in BR3.

Honestly, I think this is BR4 because neither of them.

In return, I think all semi auto rifles of 10 rounds or less should be BR3 if they are above it, with minor stat adjustments as necessary (ZH29 does a lot of damage)

Nah, I think they’re all right where they are currently. Any BR higher and those weapons would quickly become underpowered.

I think the core idea was to make these all desirable weapons be primarily held back by their limited availability. Though they are very inconsistent in the application of this. We will see if the theme is maintained for all event and BP items moving forward.

Major said that they had been collecting BR change suggestions for months which implies that there will be BR adjustments and he was also confused about the BR of rifles in game which made me think that they might plan some big changes.

In my opinion it’s probably best to wait and see for now and we will return to powercreep semi-auto rifles after we seen the planned changes.

I hope they aren’t merging IV and V, BR IV Germany is my favorite lineup right now.

Inversely, that would mean that 10-shot BR 4 SA rifles should be in BR 3.

I frankly don’t mind if the new bp rifles end up in br 4 if it means existing TT 10-shot SA rifles end up in BR 3.

The only thing I desire is consistency.

The devs switching a rifle they announced to be BR 3 to BR 4 cannot be tolerated.

I agree with the consistency request.

Japanese semi auto rifles for example at BR III and IV are a joke. They have 5 rounds and a comparatively slow reload.

On the other hand I strongly question why Japan gets a bunch of 50 round SMGs at multiple BRs, whereas 50 round Lanchester is limited to premium, and BR III. (MP28 is BR II and has 50 rounds which is the the equivalent of a full mag of a Bren gun and BAR together.)
