Friendly fire on purpose

There needs to be a system to punish the grievers. There is every 2nd to 3rd game there is one on your team just killing the team with mps, blowing up your tanks and destroying everything you build. It is realy bad and getting worse. If nothing will be implemented to prevent this I wont be playing much longer.

The grievers ARE the punishment, bro. Havent you read the book?

But seriously. This would punish accidental friendly fire too and be quite frustrating. Perhaps 3 strikes and you are kicked from the match.

I’m not calling for a permaban for shooting 3 friendlies accidentaly, but at least a timed ban if you blow up the 2nd friendly tank or kill 5 friendlies with small arms fire in a short time. Something along those lines.

both with artillery and aircraft bombs, there is always someone who gets killed because they were exploring, implementing your idea would be difficult because the pk doesn’t mind being banned from the match after killing 5-10 allies, but another player who makes a mistake and takes out 6 allies in one shot with an airplane, artillery, a grenade would be a problem especially after 20 minutes of the game

Sure you might have to take a timeout, but doing nothing at all encoureges such behavior. One of the grievers was braging that he terrorises players in warthunder for years and gaijin just does nothing.

This, that’s kindof the problem with it. I try avoiding dropping arty on friendlies but some dipshits always manage to run into it or park their tank in it and die anyway.

so you kill 2-3 friendlies over a minute, not 6 fiendlies in 10 seconds. There has to be a line smewhere or there will be a growing number of grievers, like there is now. Another aproach would be. if the griever takes the damage after the 3rd kill or something like that. Doing nothing will just make it worse. Ask chamberlin.

solving the problem is not so simple even with the machine and account ban it takes a few seconds to get around it nowadays, the only way is to do as in a fps that I don’t remember where the pk and cheater after they were labeled as pk and cheaters from the system ended up playing only against pk and cheater for a long time at expiration if they continued they ended up in the prison server for life and since there was no ban it could not be bypassed without creating a new account (but how many new accounts you can make before you get tired)

Reflective damage would help a bit.

Sometimes it’s not even a players fault for a TK. The other day I threw an explosion pack, the enemy threw it back and killed me and some others… I got hit for the TK since it was my explosion pack, even though the enemy was the one to throw it.

I’ve also run into an issue where I throw an explosion pack into a building, then an idiot team member runs right in the same exact door… they die, I get the TK.

It would be nice to have a way to address intentional killing though. The other day I had a team mate look right at me, kill me, then took my LMG. They clearly killed me because they had a crappy bolt action and wanted a better weapon.

Yeah I had a teammate shoot me in the back because he wanted the MG I was on.

Is there a way to identify the type and amount of TK’s a player gets? If someone racks up to many then they get banned for a set amount of time. A game kick will not stop certain types of people, they need greater punishment.

Would be some solution with a notification, you killed friendly and die because of that.

Maybe the game can check how frequent they are killing allies. Like if they kill like 20 with a rifle this should be suspicious.

20 with a bomb, well harder but I think you should be fine with the current penalty since you can’t see who is who anyway.

But it’s something to discuss for sure.

Maybe even the Rainbow Six solution, where the killed gets a notification, if it was on purpose. If you pick yes all teamdamage that player makes further is reflected.

teammate throws grenade into room
I rush in and die
select “punish”

Yes may happen, but now they trust on players to not teamkill on purpose. So trusting them to be truthful about if it was on purpose or not it a significant step down in trust in players. There should be a punishment for killing teammates and what is in place now does not work by any strech of the imagination.

griever
I just had this dude in the game. all he did is hunt me. He spawned on me, turned his back to the enemies and was hiding in corners just to kill a specific teammate. Why can somone kill a single teammate like 10 times without getting punished?
