I honestly wouldn’t mind a few French weapons/vehicles being worked into the Allied TT

Ah, France was occupied during WW2. Most of them would likely be used by Axis.
You wouldn’t laugh at .45 ACP, AKA “the Lord’s caliber”.

I spout the gospel of our Lord and Savior John Moses Browning every chance I get

Great suggestions! But I have just one problem. I want all these weapons to be a part of a French TT or at the very least a sub-tree within the Allied faction. This is the reason why I haven’t purchased the GO Chatellerault LMG as well.
I think most French content should be given to Germany
Not for the full thing, they fought at the start of it. Also there were Free French Forces supported by the Allies across the globe throughout the war
I mean, France fought for as long as it took for the Germans to completely bypass France’s whole defensive strategy, and seize their capital.
Far as the “free French”. My understanding is that it amounted to a few troublemakers, and De Gaullle working hard at wearing out his welcome in Britain.
For the record; I don’t make fun of France’s historical military capabilities, and believe that surrendering when they did was almost certainly the correct choice.
French also held out long enough for the British Army to evacuate from Dunkirk.
Also, as far as the Free French Forces they played a pretty significant role in Tunisia and Italy, as well as a some french commandos and pilots being involved in normandy and Free French 2nd Armored Division proving instrumental in liberating Paris. I think there may have been some fighting in French Indochina as well, but I can’t speak to what degree.
