also since Thompsons are still somewhat “lacking” compared to other SMGs, there should be some tweaks done with BRs.
-1.
there should absolutely be a BR2 20 round Thompson considering how common 20 round mags were.
-2.
the great Thompson M21/28 with its iconic dispersion should replace the now BR5 drum Thompson and should also get a drum- its an insult that Soviets are allowed to use this gun but not the US
-3. Now that there is a T20, M2 Carbines have gotten kinda pointless, what should happen is that they should turn it into a BR4 Assaulter weapon - to clear one additional Thompson from the TT.
-4. all that left is BR3, which can keep some regular version Thompson, best we move the now BR4 M1 Thompson into it, which has a nice rate of fire - to compensate for the poor sights and regular 30 round mag.
It’s too accurate with too high rof to be at BR4 where it also could fight vs BR3 it would become completely overpowered of a weapon. Imagine situation where you would be a German player with a crappy G41 and you have to fight against 9 rifleman carrying M2 carbines. Yeah no thanks it’s a fate worse than death.
well okay, what ever, then move those Thompsons into folders, my point however is that the BR5 Thompson should be the grip one with better dispersion and sights, while some other Assaulter weapon along the TT like the M2 would make the US SMG tree not consist 80% of Thompsons.
There were also better sten gun versions that could deserve to sit in BR3.
You mean the literal most iconic Thompson to ever exist? The absolute sex icon that is the original Thompson? The mafia loving Chicago Typewriter? THAT Thompson?
I agree. Gimme fiddy rounder
